^Yeah the backwaters are beautiful there. I picked up some similar looking stuff at varkala the year before last. Seeds all went in the garden at the guest house. Not game to risk flying home with it.

Agree about the recommendation for food lovers. Awesome seafood, curries and pretty much everything was fresh and plentiful. As long as you arent too keen on drinking booze (except toddy) there is everything you need.

In those last pictures you can clearly see how hybridisation took place between the mexican smugglers...those nuggets look more like skunk or commercial hybrids from a dispensary than proper mexican "sativa" buds!

Looks reminiscent of the outdoor purple skunk that some coffeeshops stock in Amsterdam, I'm quite fond of that stuff, not the strongest but an enjoyable smoke to me.

Here is the latest Thai I have acquired, now this is a really nice batch.
Everyone comments "that shits good" and "the high lasts ages".
And yes the effect of these tropical sativa's lasts longer than hybrids,
a bit of a creeper, but not too bad, around 5 good seeds per gram.

The smell is of old leather, pepper, and slight licourice, zero sweet/skunky here.

Wow. Thanks Rinse, red rider, and others for creating and posting in this thread!

These herbs are a dream.

I smoke cannabis to inspire creativity, be happy, and for my health. I live in Colorado, a "medical" state, and I don't get any of those effects :/

I've actually been missing the commercial, bricked, probably mexi weed I used to smoke as a teenager. It had a strong smell, the high lasted, and it actually tasted like herb!!

Go Legalization!!! Hopefully the whole world can smoke these fine landraces grown in there indigenous habitats!

Here is another Jamaican I picked up which is a lighter color, I think this one may contain indica genes as the smell is slightly skunky/nutty.
The high however is trippy, and very strong, in fact I know a few people who simply refuse to smoke it as it has taken them too far, they stick to their indoor nugs.
It has a few very fat seeds but they are mostly crushed as this is highly compressed weed. It doesn't look like it will get you very stoned but is sold at skunk prices £10 a gram etc.
When you smoke it you realize why.

Hi TerpeneDream, I hear in most medical states the bud dispeneries are mostly stocking indoor grown indi hybrids, which is a shame because medi patients should have access to outdoor grown herb.

In California they grow shit loads outdoor in the Emerald Triangle forests, I wonder how much of that goes to dispenseries.
What is available to you in Colorado?
Peace.

There definitely needs to be an "Heirloom Cannabis" movement!

I'm just a youngin' -- well not so young, but didn't start smoking until the 90s -- so really sad that I missed out on these great outdoor / imported sativas. Reading about them is pretty fun, tho. I suspect growing them is, too. Will see... I want to practice on a few boring indica crosses before I try to tame a true sat!
There are quite a few good seed companies that carry landrace sativas (and indicas), in case anyone wants to get started.

The Real Seed Company
Cannabiogen (Also has a collection of Underground Seeds and Tom Hill)
ACE Seeds

There used to be Afropips and especially The African Seed Company.
