yesterday i gravity blasted a massive crack in my snare drum. today i go to the local music shop (guitar centers an hr away) and i got a new snare head.... for 19$. absolutely rediculas. i might have saved money if i put 10 in my tank and made the drive.
all that really matters is i can play drums again... i cant go more then a day without them.

oh but my original point... yes drum equipment & accessories are very expensive.....
