I was in Fort Lauderdale back in 1981, I was just passing through the city for kicks as we were actually camped in Daytona Beach for Bike Week. I was motoring along at 2-3mph along the strip in traffic, the beach/ocean to my left, bars & hotels etc on my right.

Suddenly from out of the sidewalk crowd came some college looking dude all beat & bloodied up, he stumbled up to me, swung his left leg over my bike and declared "get me outta here bro!"

I swung around with my left elbow and clocked him in his ear, knocking him off my bike and into the traffic lane, it looked like I knocked him out, directly behind me was a Ft. Lauderdale squad car; I didn't even look at the cops and I motored off when traffic moved which was only moments after I tagged the drunk. I guess the cops could clearly see that I was 100% w/in my rights to dislodge an unwelcome rider.......
