So a Muslim-India human male is going to make his donkey walk a half a mile and stick his penis up its female butt just so that it's warm ?

The weather is 110F or 43C out there!

So, today I am as old as my Mother was when she died 3 weeks before her 55th birthday nearly 21 years ago. Way too young. The wheel in the sky keeps on turning.....

was thinking last night about that..

15 years ago, before the internet had lots of free software for making music, i used to give free studio time for neighborhood kids to "memetically empower them".

well the kids really were gangsters working hand in hand with the old blokes in the neighborhood, and in time i'd lose the studio.. the house and more.

they all the age i was then now, bless em.

trying to finish a song, "rivers and lakes", r+l = "jianghu," the martial arts community in wuxia.. or, any "professional community" in life (such as seed breeders, music software manufacturers..) the people you know in this shit...

song has these simple musical devices which are expounded on/met with counterpoint by other voices and become a complex, moving whole, like rivers and lakes carrying people away with the current.

i remember the six (five) freaks of jiangnan, minor troublemakers, really innocent guys trying to make a way for themselves ("laughing in the wind", an exemplary statement of the autonomy of chinese perspective.. imo..)

that's kind of what i'm trying to get in the song.. these simple faces, with their momentary, relative concerns, buck teeth, topknots and polearms, swept in the currents of a larger thing called life.

sometimes in song making i have to let go of what i'm trying to accomplish and work with what's there.
