Watermelon day? Sorry for asking but is this some kind of American or Canadian holiday?
Here in mainland West-EU my watermelon plants are just starting to throw flowers. Far from harvestable fruit still.

Originally heard about it on an LA radio station.

Currently 97 degrees outside, the small sugar babies
are 2 bucks each at the grocery store currently.

Someone I knew up here 39 years ago had someone chronically stealing their water jugs. I told them to take one of the old-school grenade simulators the military used for training, and to tape the friction-type pull-fuse to the bottom of their jug, placing the grenade simulator in a divot under the jug and staking the gs to the ground. Then leave a note saying next time it might be for real.

Hard to do that sort of thing inside one's truck cab, though. And Canada has taken some stout legislative action banning even defending one's own life, let alone defending property, so likely not applicable to where you live at all. Just a fond memory of would-be effective deterrents to those with sticky fingers.

A friend in the bush sent me 7 samples of crosses he made and grew in a greenhouse this summer. He wants reports.

I no longer rush through samples, as in the past, testing as many as 28 samples in one week, became a total waste of time and weed. Too much confusion. Lack of clear interpretation.

Instead, these days, when giving a report, I toke on a joint off and on for a couple days to get a feeling for it. Sometimes the high changes, based on my energy levels, rather than the weed. Sometimes I get a second opinion, and share a joint with a family member, and see if they observe the same effects I do.

There's a couple versions of a Goji OG crossed with a Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze among the samples, which I'm about to try one of now. It's the second sample of the pack to be unveiled.

The one we tried already was a product of crossing a mystery weed he was gifted in a remote part of the State (which I believe had ONE seed in it), which he liked, and then crossed with something else that I'm not sure of. It was a very nice, potent high, which my family member described as "like a fuzzy pillow." I could feel that from earlier experience with that same sample, too.

Funny thing was, that sample ran what I (and my family member) perceived to be somewhat the opposite course of many highs; it was very fuzzy, almost twice removed from one's self initially, then, as it became more clear-headed, it became a bit more energetic, and what ever task was being engaged in was made easier, rather than a tail spin and a nap.. We both liked that aspect.

I need to find out what the second mystery plant is in that cross... After I sample this Goji x SLH joint right now..
