We have been getting a lot of rain recently with more in the forecast SO I decided to chop them, I don't have my plants close to home and have a crazy schedule in the next couple weeks so that is why I chose not to risk getting any mold or weird issues. These plants have been pretty much problem free so I figured what the hell. I was glad to see some of them were falling over, hopefully I will yield a pound. They're smelling super dank too :)

I learned a lot for my first time growing, surprised I got anything at all being they were started indoors and were super heat stressed, then moved outdoors and repotted while flowering. You can see a couple of them are just like single cola's lol.

Noob as well... Askin advice

Hey nice thread I too have GSC and it was looking really good but I'm doing indoor soil with ffof and i just learned if you do that by week 4 u need to add some stuff so the GSC just got flushed and I added some solo mite lime and worm caster and I have the GSC its first of the ft trio a modified dosage. So I'm waiting to see what happens.

337 cfm, 400 watt mh, have 2 vents I taped on for intake.

Nice plants, looking much better then my indoor grow right now thanks for letting me use your post:)

Are you planning on doing any training? Seems like that's the way to go on indoor. I feel like I got some real nice kolas on my small plants by doing LST during early vegging.

Thanks for the advice jaunt now I am doing training. How many weeks are you plants? How are they doing?

Hey bluntdcat, my plants flowered for 6 weeks, I cut them down a little early because we were having some real rainy days and I didn't want them to mold/rot. Trichs were about 50/50 clear/cloudy. Go figure after I cut them we had two weeks with nothing but sun and in the 70's... ah well. I think they turned out pretty good, especially for my first grow, zero bud rot. I haven't weighed them yet but should do that this week. They're all jarred up and curing now.

I think the smoke is pretty good, I've been sampling, I'm happy with it. They all smell nice too, didn't get that dreaded grassy/hay smell during drying. I wish they were less leafy and more dense, but I guess you get that down with practice, I had lots of airy popcorn buds on the bottoms, My Glass Slipper plant had super dense nugs, It was interesting to see the difference in genetics since they were all grown in the same conditions. Not bad for some craigslist clones imo.

Here are some bud pics:

I love your er direction. but you look better than any first timer.

but seriously that was great, i see u could have had a lil higher ratio of k like seaweed, your phos level looked good.

Switch to smart pots in the future than your lst will pay of better because of the dramatic root efficicency increase.... u know how the plastic post make the roots go to the edge of pot and waste the inside dirt... works opposite with the breathable fabric bags. you can make em your self.

bro, at the time of that pic you are severely overwatered. you pots are absolutely to tiny. and when you up pot switch to an smart type fabric pot. get ur money worth outta that expensive soil. save that plastic pot junk for something else temporary.

i know your soil is already packed with nutes so lay off the N and pay attention to K it loves seaweed...and get it by the gallon or 4 liter

Thank you very much for the compliments and advice.

Basically I just went light on the nutes, only water twice a week max avoiding runoff, more of a hands off approach and let them do the work.

Like I said I wish I would've gotten bigger yields but my plants kinda had a rough life, started indoors and were majorly heat stressed, then moved to outdoor and repotted during first week of flower. Luckily never had any pest damage, mold or nute burn.

Next time :smoke:

Curing right in the sweet spot.

I was really afraid I let my buds dry out too much but glad to see they plumped back up a bit after jarring them, really starting to look nicer and smell stronger too. It's really interesting to see all the phases these plants go through from start to finish.
