Hey ICmag, just wanted to post up some pictures of what I have going on, looking for any tips & advice anyone can lend. Maybe you guys will catch something I'm missing. Just totally learning at this point, I'll be happy if I get any crop this round. Here are some details:

Strains include: White Berry, Glass Slipper, Mammoth & Girl Scout Cookies. I think I have more plants than I can handle currently.

Growing in: some organic soil mix, store bought & perlite, utilizing fox farm organics nutrients & cal/mag supplement. Also some dolomite lime.

Soil PH has been around 6.5

Temps have been high, low to mid 80's with some spikes into the 90's (the building my cab is in gets baked in the summer days), We had some rain this weekend so it's cooled off a bit into the high 70's.

RH has been around 40%, I use a humidifier inside the cab.

The cab is 4'x4'x8', 4" intake, 4" high output exhaust fan, I have a slight vacuum inside the cabinet.

Currently at 3 1/2 weeks of vegging using a 480w Mars Hydro Reflector LED. (96x5) and a 150w CFL supplement (dunno if this even helps?)

Planning to add another 480w or 720w LED for flowering and repotting into bigger pots.

Been doing LST since week one on most of them. Seems to be some good growth, but I've been having some leaves yellow and die off here and there, not many though. Anyway here are some half assed cell phone pics for now, maybe someone can lend some insight to how they look? I plan on updating as I go along the whole way.

Thank you very much!

More light, larger containers to get a decent harvest.

Hi mate, glad you gor a journal going!! Looking forward to seeing yiur babies blossom into lovely mature ladies!! :D
Plants look good, though I agree with aridbud - the plants definitely need bigger containers. some are showing signs of being root bound and/or the slightest N deficiency - though nothing too bad :)
Also, looking big enough to go 12/12 already imho, you have many different strains and the different stretch rates will have you busy enough in looking for empty space to get branches to! :D
How are you finding the reflector? I struggled from seed, I think the CFL would've defo helped add a little extra to equation in my setup :)

Yea they will be repotted this week for sure.

I started with clones so I don't have any feedback on starting from seed. I'm usually pretty bad as starting from seed for any plants lol.

Thanks for the input :)

As far as the light itself it's a pretty nice unit. Always feels cool to the touch even during 20 hour light cycles.

I must say its looking good in my opinion. If anything a couple of them look like they could stand a little nitrogen but they don't necessarily look like they really need it bad if your hesitant. I can't really comment on whether they are rootbound or not because by sum dumb luck I have not experienced that problem yet. I'm still kinda a noob myself lol.

Mild overwatering (puffy, droopy leaves). The darker ones with hooks forming at leaf tips are getting too much N.

Other wise, it looks like you're off to a good start. Enjoy the ride and when you felt you've pulled all your hair out, remember everyone here has a few patches missing. Bottles of Rogaine all over the bloody place ;)

Would there be any weird effects by mixing an HPS 150w into my lighting with the LED?

I never personally have used hps however from what all I've read as long as you can control the heat it would be very beneficial.

Update:

Things didn't work out at my indoor grow, long story i'll spare you of. Luckily I was able to take them to my friends farm. So now this is an outdoor grow thread I guess :smoke:

should be interesting to see what they do with 3-4 more weeks of vegging.

Shame about the lighting info, I am curious about story! :D

Looking good outdoors though! And very well camouflaged!! ;)
I bet you will get some nice outcomes - I much prefer outdoors, watching nature do its thing unrestricted (apart from a lot nicer, bigger, usually more flavoursome bud! :) ), although I have also discovered the downside - no control over climatic conditions! Here in the northern latitudes of europe that is an issue...I have (had - cut it down!) a Lowryder I was growing outside...temps at night dropped unseasonably low, came back from hols to find a bit of mould..luckily it hadn't spread to other parts yet, but I threw quite a bit away :( So just keep eyes peeled, and you'll be fine!:dance013:

Yes I must say, you can't beat the sun!

plenty here in Colorado, very low humidity as well

Also can't beat being legal either :smoke:

Do you think I should keep LST'ing them?
