with something like this ya got's to figure a couple of kg for soil/medim a kilo per ltr of water/nutes and a couple of kilo for, hopefully, plant& buds...that's 6 kg+-....something this heavy, with a potential to get heavier , needs a strong hook connected to a strong support beam of some sort....one suggestion is hang a rail, secured either end with the bag hung on a butchers 'S' hook...this would allow movement when attending your buisness and to optimise light...hell, in the right circumstances I'd put rails on the ceiling along the edge of the growroom walls and hang as many of 'em as I could fit fed by dripper/timer...stick in some small AF's or clones taller than the radius of the bags...pinch out ALL shoots but the tips so the plant will grow UP the outside of the bag instead of trying to grow OUT from UNDERNEATH the bag...

With the right setup you could make your own 'Hanging Garden of Budalon' LOL :)

EDIT: a followup thought [smoking some LR#2 just harvested&dried]...you have access to an old drycleaners shop....the railing and automation equipment...set the railing to move the hanging baskets past the light source at regular intervals...you could even have different light sources set up one after the other...trolley A is exposed to HPS for a set time...the railing moves A on to an area with MH and B takes it's place under the HPS...at set time A is then moved to UV light, B moves into MH and C is under HPS...each 'trolley' could have several hanging pots...a kind of automated track running the hanging plants, moving them past different light sources with good ventilation...a PotTrain if you will ;)

OK, got some new stuff going, put the Topsy Turvy back up with a White Rhino Clone.

Here's the view from under the Turvy looking up.

By keeping the light above the plant, seems to be keeping pretty straight, and not turning up to the light too bad.

Happy Halloween!

I don't know Mr. Red, I'll look later, when the roots fill it up.

It is a small 2 foot clone right now that had been living in a 16 oz cup, so it has lots of room to grow.

These Rhino clones get about 5 foot tall most times here.

there was a gardener/thread on og/cw that suspended large (~10-12") pvc pipes from the ceiling... there was almost nothing on the floor in that room... just 2 parallel 12"x~4' tubes, hanging... was aero or nft, like an 'irish/webbie' nft pipe situation... looked very clean & kept things out of the way on the floor... res was outside of room, if recall...

geotropism will keep the plants' terminal buds/tips growing upwards... curious about how the roots grow too...

enjoy your garden!

im thinking vertical lights no reflectors and plants on the floor, and my new UPSY DAISY baskets(topsy turvy knockoffs) hanging from the ceiling might double yeilds,

Might be a good way to make female seeds as long as ya dont grow the seeds ya make upside down, if the hermie gravawhateverism dude mentioned on first page is true, good luck

i was thing havving your bulb horizontal then just fill the space above the light with these things so you got your normal grow at the bottom nd these things on the top

Yes, Mr. Red, I think you could doouble your space easy.

And if a person had a greenhouse, it would easily double your space.

Does It Look Any Bigger?

Does It Look Any Bigger?

White Rhino is chugging along in the Topsy Turvy!

However, I must admit, her sister clone of the same age is in a regular pot and is bigger! LOL. I am just doing it for the fun of it though, not big rewards! Grow Topsy Grow!
