More to the point, how did the United States go from being a nation which rose up to oppose the forces of fascism in 1939, to one which would appear to be well on the way of embracing it currently ?

Indoctrination refers to the process of teaching someone to fully accept the ideas, opinions, and beliefs of a particular group and to not consider other ideas, opinions, and beliefs. It can also mean instructing someone in a doctrine, principle, ideology... All MAGA HAS BEEN INDOCTRINATED!!!..

Anything political is scummy and corrupt. There are no good politicians.

Thank you for your many and fine contributions to this thread over the years.
That is a fabrication that the opposition has spent a fortune to have poured over us for generations now.
The truth is that there has always been an abundance of fine people who are more than willing to serve
their neighborhoods, communities, states and nation.
As an example I give our own George Washington, who could well have been this nations first King, had
he not chosen to have turned down that opportunity.
He did again turn down a similar opportunity when he refused to even consider a third term, and in so doing did establish yet another fine standard for his fellow Americans.
We currently have an occupant in the White House who thinks it appropriate that he profit off the people
whom he is supposed to be serving.
That was not always the case, and we are given fine examples of that again by our most decent George Washington, who contributed absent any compensation, his own families silver to the initial minting of coinage for the treasury of the nation, to cover the cost of the conflict which was very costly to him personally.
So how was it that we went from men of a caliber who felt their highest calling was to serve the nation, to the likes of what we have currently, who feel that our nation should serve them ?
I have had a series of such questions in my mind, the first of them being :
How was it that we entered the second world war with Russia as our most staunch ally, but by midway
through the war, we had abandoned them to embrace Germany who we had gone to war against in the
first place ?
If you like, I will share that which I have found.
I will explain what I found, along with how and where I found it.
I remind you, that nothing in this life is had without cost.
If you sleep well, you may want to give some serious thought as to continuing on with this.
There is a good chance, that you may find restful sleep elusive for a period of time.

😂 this thread is pure comedy. How many links can the OP post today? How much time will it spend researching and scrolling through the news just so it can be posted and repeated here on a pot forum? What is the message today?

I reckon 😂 Some folks find solace in the misery of their views. It’s a luxury of an affluent society to share it everyday with others. Masked as a cause. Some where there is guilt.
Seeing what has become of the country bothers you little, but my speaking of is so bothersome for you,
that you must voice your concern.
Can't help but notice you are still mired in your little fantasy that you are a doctor. Such options were
as available to you as they were anyone else, but you clearly had other priorities.
Interesting you mention guilt.

Seems the same to me. Great place to live. If you got off your electronic devices long enough you might see it. But you choose to fill your head with media driven negativity. There is no hope. It’s your choice.

I just got done with my run in the mountains. Yeah buddy….feeling pretty healthy. No guilt. I put in the work. Been running mountains all over the western USA for 18 years. 59 years old. No need for doctors or prescription meds or vaccinations. Diet and exercise. Educated discipline. Very proactive about my own health. Have been for a very long time. Seems to work for me.

You have given up on pursuing happiness. I have not.

You are looking to blame things for your misfortunes. That’s clear. I have zero sympathy for you.
