Packer, What the hell. I got my gloss over brush out.

Where's the beef?

Howard Bloom. Who's the VP, Woody Allen?

I am pulling for Bill Maher as VP.

Its getting glossy in here. Lol.

No beef just some wings and things.today. Guacamole for sure.

I never said I wanted him to win, that being said he's more reasonable than any potential Democratic candidate I have seen. Probably more reasonable than Trump for that matter.

I just love the idea of voting for an independent. I live in Crapifornia so my vote has never counted. That's what happens when you live in occupied territory.

I can't say i will be sad when I see the media meltdown. It's Trumps fault, no It's Blooms fault. Heads will explode. Couldn't be that Americans don't support insanity.

So, I am officially torn. So the Rams may not visit the white house, but Brady and your Pat's are on board. Come on, Please don't make me consider rooting for Brady :nono::wallbash:

Zeez my friend I hope you have a great Super Bowl Sunday. May your Monday be hangover free.

Brady and Kraft will both be there proudly. I'm glad their talents are in football. not politics. Maybe even Belichick too. All righties. Wait till your wife finds out.

Bloom and Woody look allot alike. I think they'd be perfect together.

I can see why you are talking politics here - No one in Cali wants to hear it. That's ok, I'm always happy to kick the ball around. Maybe I can learn something.

Going easy on the eats, wings, nachos, margueritas. Just remember, with Brady it's not over till it's over. Part of me does want LA to win. This dynasty GOAT thing has gotten out of hand.

The funny thing is of all the people I know here in California, mabey 10 will admit to voting for Clinton. I know hundreds of Trump voters here in California

Yeah, I am actually kind of tired of people saying Roger's is the goat. He's my quarterback, but damn you can't be the goat if you ain't winning the big game.

I like discussing things here because their are some dems who are fairly intelligent. I can hone my opinions here. It's also making dozens of solid points, to be responded to with crickets. The silence or screaming madness is what I usually get in Crapifornia. Thankfully those are rare in my area

My wife works with special needs kids, she could never get behind a party that advocates medical advances through eugenics( eliminating all down syndrome people). She's surely aware that a successful dynasty wouldn't demonize success. She's mainly apolitical, but the abortion issue, and transgender child mutilation are pet peeves of hers. I mean seriously we lost a baby inutero, doesn't get much more real or personal when people celebrate something that you will never fully recover from.

Sorry to hear.... Happened to a close friend with a prolapse cord. So sad.

My wife was a patient advocate for special needs because handicapped were not getting the same medical treatment and in some cases dying. In our state there is now a good amount of oversight.

Packer, if you would like some insight about why others don’t respond or gloss over your posts, here’s my take on that.

The quoted response of yours below is written by you to cannavore.

Cannavore was making the point that ignorance is part of the issue primarily in republican areas that don’t teach/support birth control /sex Ed classes based primarily on religious beliefs. The rates of STD’s and teen pregnancy’s are much higher without education and birth control.

It’s a statistically verified statement of fact.

So, he’s providing insight on an issue you obviously care a lot about, yet you seemingly disregard it as not relevant. Why you wouldn’t be interested in getting to the root problem causing unwanted pregnancies, at least a good chunk of it is an open question I cannot answer.

Is it because it doesn’t make republicans look good, to be a major cause of unwanted pregnancies and std’s?

I would think you’d say, fuck the repub’s, I hate abortion more than I like them, and go from there.

Stuff like that would be my guess as to the glossing, that, and the way you dismiss entire media outlets because they don’t provide balanced coverage of potus.
I’m not possible to come up with an equal amount of good trump stories versus the bad, it’s honestly that simple.

Other generalities like democrats will take all semi auto’s, stuff like that sound very tin foil hat like, typical scare mongering talk that is generally fed to those unable to do any critical thing, ie base talk.

Who wants to debate the base machine talking points other than the base?

No where did I claim abstaining was the answer. Personal responsibility is the answer.

I like how you gloss over the health of the mother. The health of the mother can be something as minor as depression, no where in the law is their a difinative list of health risk. Even when their are circumstances that are dangerous to the health of the mother in the 3rd trimester, the medical protocol is to wait for it, hold on its coming, just a minute more. DELIVERY OF THE FUCKING CHILD.

The fact which I clearly stated before that either way the child or its corpse has to be delivered. The woman will either deliver the child alive or dead. The child doesn't magically disappear after it's killed.

Explain to me how delivering a dead fetus somehow mitigates all the potential health concerns of delivering the baby alive.

I have serious disagreements with you Canavore, but fuck come on you are smarter than this. You defend it for no reason other than people on the right condemn it. Guess what it ain't just the right that finds this disgusting.

I will say I respect Tulsi Gabbard, but Brenie Sanders is a fucking moron, who couldn't run an ice cream cart let alone the most prosperous country in the history of the world.

I said I don't think absetnance is the solution. I don't think to many people don't know that sex leads to babies and diseases if you don't cover it.How is a political party responsible for what consenting people do in bed? No one has ever forced me to have unprotected sex. Ultimately, personal responsibility is the answer, their is a valid question if that is something that can be taught in this day and age.

I have made my dislike of all politicians clear. I am not a member of any political party. Not now, not ever.

As far as tin foil hat semi automatic confiscation, It came out of Kamala Harris and her presidential campaign announcement speach, as did the outlawing of private vehicles, green new deal, and elimination of private insurance all this at a cost of 11 trillion annually. So, when she says it I take her at her word. No hat required. Yes, she did walk back these ideas the next day, but she said them, not me.

Yes, I can't think of much that I hate more than abortion.

You may be right about the ratio of good to bad Trump. I voted for Trump, Not that it mattered, I support the vast majority of his agenda, that doesn't mean I like everything he does. Let's say it's 25% good to 75% Bad just for a conservative estimate. The media is still 95% negative, even going as far to attack, high school kids. The media couldn't be bothered to watch the whole video before calling for their heads. It's still a drastic mismatch.

Thanks for your input Redlaser. You do make some valid points,

I can't find any of this anywhere and I have been following her key points. Kamala Harris is against Assault weapons but I never heard anything about semi autos.

The whole assault rifle ban is a joke. I own a Bushmaster that was purchased during the last ban. The only difference is that the ban guns could not have a ramp front sight or a collapsable stock. They were the same guns.

I personally think hand guns are far more dangerous than ARs due to the concealment aspect. That said, If I had to give up a couple ARs it wouldn't be the end of the world, but I do believe law abiding citizens willing to go through a background check should be able to have them

I agree handguns are responsible for the vast majority of murders. So, don't you think that the focus should be on the guns that are actually responsible for the dead kids? Americans have no taste for taking grandads old 38. But, a big scary looking rifle that functions no different than my lil 22.is fine.

You made the right wing argument against an assault weapons ban. Carefully, someone might call you a racist, bigot, homophobe,.

If you support the taking of ar-15 yet you willingly purchased what you claim is no different. How do you square that?

Sounds like your wife is a keeper. That's awesome she is an advocate for the handicapped. My wife is dealing with 2 school districts who decide that an autistic kid is too much to handle. One district kept him in the detention room, with no education at all for years. The other put him in a county school full of kids on probation. Sad that an autistic kid has to go to a school that has probation officers on campus, 3 cops, metal detectors, and constant monitoring of students. On the bright side a few of the kids take the time to help the autistic kid. Sad when juvenile delinquents are better people than the whole of 2 different school districts administration and teachers.my wife wants to write a letter about the kids who are helping the kid, for their probation officers.

Easy! I like guns. And I don't mind a background check for the right to own them.

Holy shit, I’m going to agree with vta twice in a row about guns anyway.

I’m guessing packer meant pistols are simply used in more killings

A searchable database of gun ownership doesn’t seem unreasonable, the fact that all purchases are only on paper is pretty unreasonable and paranoid in my opinion.

The database is where we will disagree. My thought is if the right to privacy guarantees the right to an abortion. Why would the right to own a firearm without having to be on a database be based in a right to privacy.

I don't think it's paranoid to want privacy.

That being said people pay money for a box that listens to your every word (goggle home, Alexa, etc.) So it's not surprising that would demand the government's boot on their neck.

take away guns and you get acid attacks and stabbings...

I've been shot twice.. would rather get shot again vs. the others that psychos do.. keep guns and make ppl do a background check and take a education course before any purchases allowed
is my vote
