As I think about it, my wife had that to deal with to an extent.problem being that squeaky-clean citizens are rare, if not non-existent. years back, most respected news media understood boundaries & did not cross them. now, if you shit the bed once as a kid, or did something repulsive as a teen, it will be dug up & paraded in front of the world as evidence that you are not "worthy"...and our 24 hour news cycle guarantees that everyone WILL see it. fuck, Mother Teresa could not get nominated, she's bound to have had moments of weakness & confessed doubts. who hasn't? so, we are left voting for incompetent corporate stooges & corrupt publicity whores that know little more than how to go along to get ahead. in this atmosphere of sleaze, who would subject their family to the deluge of vitriol that would rain down? whose family would stand there and take it? whose marriage could withstand it? nobody that i know...
Hard to tell what that really means. Yes there is more coverage. Not just shootings. Just about everything. Is that a bad thing? It’s not a manufactured crime wave. It isn’t made up. It’s been steady. Overall according to your graph, it is higher, even though there were earlier peaks.
Then we will have three colluding to keep every other party off of the ballot.we have two parties that collude to keep every other party off the ballot in all 50 states.

Half of the major corporations here pay no taxes at all.
Absent responsible government we have no recourse or remedy for that, and it will get worse.
We must have good people step up and serve not just in the military, but politically as well.
HoweverSalaries are higher in the US than in Canada. The average annual salary in the US is USD56,630, but that of Canada is USD43,867. But this isn’t a general thing. The lower salaries in Canada are due to factors such as higher operating costs, demand and supply, cost of living, and weak VC culture.

several countries listed on there with, to me anyway, surprising spots on the scale given their history of success RE students in advanced academia. i gotta admit though, that salaries may or may not reflect level of students absorption/retention of subjects. the tax bite on teachers , i bet, would be interesting to look at comparatively for all of those listed.
This is just one sample. However, I could live pretty good off of $62k a year.

With fewer college graduates, demand goes up for qualified teachers. Wages go up accordingly.
One would be wise to get educated in the U.S. work in Canada, and retire in Mexico.
