in favor of the profit based approach.
Deck stacking would be more accurate than philanthropy.

Good info, facts and thought presented by some. Bullying, intimidation, and aggressiveness by others. Too many good people had left over the 30,000 posts and it seemed be attracting more who's only goal was to heckle and harass.

I enjoyed contributing to it none the less, and would like to thank you for
your efforts in maintaining it. I made a similar request with a thread by the name of decorum for the same reason.
Yeah - I was hoping that people might see that they were being played by both sides - but only a few realized that -

I was played several times and got sucked into the game of retaliation with a BFH. It really doesn't require allot of intelligence to play. It just takes a bit more to pull somebody in for a stunner. 
That game had a pattern and seemed to be a common ploy when the facts became too heavy. Interestingly, there were several mirror images of plays used by the national propaganda network parroted in the 30k posts.
Honestly, the part that bothered me was seeing people stalked like animals with particularly vicious comments. The choices of intervening or witnessing were not at all appealing and running interference was a temporary countermeasure at best. It was a real time example of the mob mentality where individuals in the group do or say things that would be atypical for them in every day life.
This was unfortunate because there were intelligent and insightful comments on both sides and it was a good learning experience. If you guys feel that I jumped the gun then I would be happy to retract my request and let the good times roll. I don't want to be the party poop y'know. Maybe it would be a wake up call and a first for ICMag - A Reopening
