I am not a Trump fan in the slightest, but wow that is some poor journalism in that article. It immediately starts by stating a flatly-disproven narrative and then proceeds to say the sky is falling and Hitler's riding the clouds down to take us over. Barr is bad guy though, and so is Trump. I wouldn't find it unbelievable they might conspire to keep him in power, but this article doesn't present a very good case.

Fortunately the author has a Pulitzer to his credit and owns a publishing business, which in this market, some might even recognize as quite an accomplishment. I suspect he will continue to publish.

I'm sorry you take offense at this, but I read the article and I found it to be poor quality work. If an author's audience isn't supposed to be critical of what they read; that becomes indoctrination and not education. Lets not let our justifiable dislike of Trump lead us to lose touch with reality.

Even most Trumpers I know would not be ok with him just allowing himself a 3rd term. Its actually harmful to the resistance to Trump to get ourselves shadow-boxing with phantasms of terrified fantasy. There are so many real things to resist the guy on. Its just those are the things being done by nearly everyone in both party's leadership. We've been so distracted fighting Trump that we have allowed the DNC to slip in a guy with dementia to run against him. We have to keep our eye on the ball.

Have a water source nearby, raccoons come by from time to get the cats food.
Have one on the back step right now. Neat to watch .

That’s always cool watching raccoons, am always impressed with their dexterity and ability to solve whatever they are working on.

How do your cats deal with them, any interactions? Probably keep their distance, but you never know.

I agree on the being fortunate with what life delivers. Have a lot of wildlife and forest surrounding me and am lucky to experience it several times daily.

The regulars are always interesting but the migratory types are worth looking out for as well. Lots of varying bird species if I take the time to watch them.

Mentioned the skunk earlier, that was a project waiting to happen. Have them on game cameras and they come looking for our chickens, pudgy things that kind of waddle when they walk.

Dog is still a little ripe w/ skunk, but he also has a bad case of poison oak on his neck so am reluctant to use the hydrogen peroxide/ baking soda , scratched himself raw in a few places. Trying Benadryl for that and it helps with scratching.
