Thanks @JohnnyChicago - interesting observation and will remind me to stay objective when sampling. Typically one thinks of this going the other way - later harvests give more stony and narcotic effect.

Out of curiosity. Does THH clone easily? I'm planning on starting a bunch soon and my plan is to clone them early and flower them small so I can keep as many as possible and try to crash through a bunch of them without them getting too unruly.

I think Tom's haze preservation is exceptional. It's obvious Tom has very nicely preserved a variety of phenotypes through his open pollinations.
I have a question, forgive me if it has been asked and answered in the podcast as im only half way through.
Have you ever thought about doing a haze run with only haze runts/outliers?
Maybe their rare occurence could mean they carry more of the rare traits seen in 5% of offspring.
A vast oversimplification of what may happen but would be interesting to see the results.
I thought all the hazes from a THH pack I grew were excellent.
I can only imagine what the 5% ones would be like
