sounds like a nice genetic make up, just in testing fase or working it into a line for u catalouge?
Btw have you testet it in the pipe?

P420 is for breeding stock once I find what I'm looking for. Im looking for specific Chemotypes (Spicy, Sandalwood, rancid, Matalic, buttery).

I have not tried any yet.

You have them of both the green and purple phenos? I see that Ace has the purple crossed to the Chiang Mai in the R&D. Sound like it could be a nice cross but did not much see much info on it.

Yes, I’ve grown and have seeds of both the green and purple pure OTH as well have grown both types in outcrosses. I think the Ace crew has selected more towards the green OTH in their straight releases over the past few years. I was buying their seeds when they first introduced OTH and were selling individual plant crosses.

X-18 from Tom Hills last reproduction starting to pop. He said they were older beans, not sure when last reproduction was done? 2009? Guess I could just message him and find out.He sent 23 beans when I ordered the mendo docs og a couple months back. I’m going to do a little reproduction for myself and keep it alive, might pop the rest to add the lot and use everything to make the increase.I soaked 11, 5 breaking the surface already, I poked around the dirt and it looks like I’ll get at least 8 out of these. Soaked and n water for a day and straight to the dirt.

this one was chunky AF for an OTH. Soapy. Body odor. I’m just now smoking on it. Not as caffeinated as the best green haze I’ve had.

A little off topic, but any reports on the X-18 consciousness cruise?
Personally, the haze ride is a bit over the top for me, but paki tar is pretty nice from what I can remember.
Don't know what else is mixed in with it, but Tom, from everything I have read and know, does a stellar job.

OTH from Ace is IMHO the earliest versions of lumbo that were used in creating the early versions of haze. I prefer the green OTH though the purples are aesthetically pleasing. A really good green is like an espresso shot that keeps getting more and more wired with some euphoria. Absolutely no mud in the brain. No ceiling and almost nothing in the come down. Light like a feather. Purple OTH is murkier, more introspective. Heavier in the head and in the after effects. Quality but more like a late afternoon smoke. Beautiful pot both green and purple.

My limited (2 packs counting current grow) with Tom’s Posi stock is a little more variety in leaf structure (thicker to thinner). The females I’ve run finish well before OTH (13-14 weeks vs 14-16+). They are way edgier and a bit colder…kind of like the limited release Ace OTH x Meao Thai. Imagine that. As if a later version of the original lumbo haze added the Thai cross and got seeded and bulked up and sold to Posi right before Tom came along and bought them. Too bad the Ace x MT cross didn’t catch more peeps interest. I’ve still got a few F1’s and some F3’s. Mostly from the Purple OTH x MT. Kind of liked that combo a bit better. Green OTH x MT is very energetic like a Ritalin IV.

From your description it sounds like the OTH has a better high, for me anyway. I'm not chasing edgy and cold highs these days, nor peeking from behind the curtains. Fun when you're 18, not so much when you're 60 and leading a productive life. I like euphoric, motivational and happy weed these days. The paranoia edgy stuff doesn't interest me anymore.

I was a bit disappointed I missed the THH but not anymore.

I can actually handle sativas better at 40 than i could at 18. Dont get that crazy paranoia anymore, they're relaxing for me now. If anything makes me edgy its these high grade indicas

OTH in my limited experience was very much like colombian golds I have tried, mellow, decent strength content and dreamy. Wild plants with massive structure but very nice flower developments and flavours. Charlie said there were some electric plants in there so I assume they are still there.
