Tom Hill Haze

I was told I was crazy. Hopefully in a good way. I was not completely sure what I got myself into. Currently have 17 flowers original haze and 14 tom hill haze under 1 light. I flowered clones off the seed moms. And kept the moms in cups. Then I put all 31 moms in a 17 gallon tub together. And put them in a 2x4 tent with 16 Tom hill haze males. Like a trippy hippy mf clown car. After pollen does its thing I plan on saving a bunch of pollen. And putting the tub back in the other room and letting them spread out what little they can.

Will be interesting to see what I've got myself into. View attachment 18842158 View attachment 18842160 View attachment 18842165 View attachment 18842168 View attachment 18842171
This is stressing me out...but I love it, lol. Kinda like haze/sativa. It makes you nervous and feel on edge...but in a good trippy way. Good luck with all those, bruh.

It's a shame he got banned here just before he released them.
well “something" is a shame..he does act like a spoiled kid..

and appears to invite destruction mode .

,my only experience with thh was the seeds made by mac
dunno if thh is the same as ohz but I grew two of MMac’s R4 OHZ..

got one pearls on a stick, and one chunkier haze I sarcastically call the fat ohz

I whined about sedation after I grew it..andn how it wasn’t overly potent..

I dumped the cuts too..

but last night I smoked some of the two year old in freezer pearly ohz..hahaha

and it cut through everything including the tiredness I had..darn good weed

and I think I did the same thing three weeks ago with the fat ohz..

if tom’s “version” of haze is way way[way] better like he says..

then... if I actually sifted through a whole 100 bunch....

the glory train just might happen

“Pearly"

Thank you for your attention and time in advance.

Hmm. Maybe I am just an old jaded salesman but it seems to me that TH is following textbook marketing strategy to create demand for his drop . . .

2. Information Scarcity
If you leak just enough information before launch, you can generate tremendous buzz as your audience searches everywhere for more information.

3. Leverage User-Generated Content
Sometimes creating demand for a product is as simple as letting your customers sell the experience for you.

4. Make It Exclusive
People generally want something more when they can’t have it. They demand to know why they can’t have it, what factor excludes them, and how they can possibly get access to it.

The best most reliable way to get a good strain. Sometimes you can believe the hype.

I didn't get a 5% trippy haze out of 5 thh females i tried from his pictured packs bought around 2006 but they were all excellent weed and all had effects that were very distinct between phenos, deep and not found in any other weed i'd grown.

The purple one gave me a constant feeling of deja vu and nostalgia but made me lie down and day dream away with nice cevs and a smile on my face but became somewhat edgy at higher doses.

The greener ones had better energy, no body like the purple had and let great thought processes flow. I solved many coding and I.T issues with this weed as it greatly promoted lateral abstract thought.

They were all midly trippy and all enhanced colour contrast and helped pattern recognition with random stimili but if you aint got shit to do and focus on and a lot of it, it can be an overwhelming smoke.

It is a bit overwhelming anyway, the sudden onset of rushes.

I still have some seeds left of that release but i'll definitely be buying some of this release for the vault.

Question for those of you with experience selecting for green vs purple hazes: can you identify either one before they go into flower, or do you have to let the plant go well into the flower cycle?
My purple haze did not show purple until she was in flower, but the low temperatures outside had also dropped to below 53F.
Last year and the year before, I was able to identify which plants would be purple while they were seedlings. I put my plants outdoors on 4/20 and the low temps are in the upper 40s-low 50s. The ones with the purple stem, I mark the cups "purple". They all veg green, but the ones marked purple, produced the purple flowers later on. My guess is, if a plant is going to produce anthocyanins to turn purple, they will produce them as seedlings (edit: if started in cold weather).

Great take...and it doesn't even hit the 5%?! Nice. Not bad for outliers. Any other feedback? Are there other hazes you'd compare in effect that you've grown before?

Another question for those more knowledgeable, if I have say 20 THH plants and none are the 5% will breeding them give the same odds of creating the 5% in the resulting seed through the stored genetics??
Tom said he doesnt cull but cuts back those less desirable ones to preserve genetic heritage, as for percentages that could be of value among them he did not mention it.
