Tom, there's nothing to lighten up about. Do you just want a blank check to act however you want whenever you like? Putting a line in the sand on acceptable behavior doesn't make one a snowflake. Being unwilling to accept that there should be any boundaries to your own behavior isn't reasonable, and I suggest you consider that.

One of my passion projects is helping to document the history of several Marine units in the Vietnam War. I can absolutely discuss that topic with others here without needing to post photos of dead VC or injured US troops. It's not as if you need to be posting that sort of stuff to discuss the topic of dogs - it was the usual "I'm a real man, and you're not a man, and here's my graphic dog violence to prove it" bullshit.

True if your selecting for a plant that performs well even when grown by average or mediocre growers. However when selecting twords a plant that performs best in a high intensity environment with all the best fixings then it would generally be better to make your selection in that kind of environment.
One plant mite not be able to utilize the extra goodies as well as another.
I suspect that the more hybridized a plant is the more it can benefit from a little extra, as all that heterogeneousity leaves more room to adapt and utilize extra fertilizers and exotic supplements. These plants also have more phenotypic/morphological variance within a given clone. In other words the same cut can grow much differently when grown in different environments where as a true IBL which is adapted mostly to a specific climate, soil type etc. Will mostly come out the same morphologicaly just varying qualities depending on how close the environment is to the one it has been selected for.

You're looking at it as if you're trying to learn one Kung Fu move to beat all your foes in any circumstance. You're saying that the hand is faster than the foot, I'm saying it depends on where the guys head is. There are all sorts of ways to select, ignoring the advantages that can be gained from any of them, rules out the possibility of using them. This weakens rather than strengthens your Kung Fu.
