Tried macs repro of THH. Got 3 female
plants out of a bag. Honestly not interested. Found the High as good as a comercial strain. Could be unlucky,.. so if the THH is so good then go and make it in some fem seed. Really hate when breeders declear that u at least ned min. 2 packs , and then each pack contain 10 seeds and cost 100$ Then I would stick to ex. Vermontman creations.
Plz. Point me to the direction of the great Haze. The only one I liked was, MM, SSH, and my own incrosses. Tried A5 from ace, 10 different plants...found it boring... 🤣 but we are all different. For me good thai is the shit, and a good glue due work things out in prober way🤟
I like when breeders are honest about the numbers necessary to find the winning example. In my experience every variety has a better chance of producing winners if more plants are grown. Even if great plants are found in every pack. It is safe to assume multiple packs improve the odds.

I think it's a language thing. He uses UK terms when describing stuff. Knowing this I didn't take it as implying it was your best. It's his best found so far in THH seeds.. I would bet he was trying to compliment.
What he likes can be way off from what someone else likes. Nothing wrong with using @MadMac best THH instead.

A person's experience using a wide range of cannabis that dates back to the 70s helped a lot in knowing those rare lost high-quality plants we use to have. Growing up in an area like Ben Lomond Cali starting in the 70s all through until 2005 when I moved to PNW for a spell had the best weed passing through which def helped us grow/breed our own. There isn't many old heads left alive anymore. Gotta pass on that knowledge as best we can. I'll be lucky if I have another 10 years left in me. Honestly start making your own again my friend. I'm sure all would rather buy seeds made by you, I sure would. I hope you got another 25 years or more in ya. It won't get easier lol.
Is @MadMac actually im the UK? I thought Europe for some reason. Think it may be his diction in his posts.

when you talk to younger people and tell them the old weed was better they think your being nostalgic etc but it was better,,, today so many more varities flavours separated an bred for 1000 x more types available but show me even 1 with superior high than the older stuff and that what haze is all about oldschool effects
I thankfully don't fall into that category @harvestreaper. I'm in my 30s and love these NLDs with all my heart. WLD has its place but for a buzz the NLDs take it. By a fair margin.

It's like 38 minutes in I mention that one. It really is a good one
Listen to Episode 75.5 ft Tom Hill of Tom Hill's Cannabis Seeds by The Pot Cast on #SoundCloud

Ive made some nice Kush plants. Some fall off the deep end when I post something not pure haze in here. This is a cross of Cherry Cookies x C.banana I named Hammers Kush. I crossed her with THH which turned out awesome. You are welcome to try any of my work.

I have 20 Purple Haze seeds from about 15 years ago in my seed bank from Ace seeds. Anyone compared that and TTH? I also still have there double thai from back then.
I’ve grown plenty of Ace OTH. All lumbo in my opinion. Before the introduction of Indian, Thai, etc. I still have some of those Purple Haze seeds.

Tom’s is a different beast. Some of the old lumbo is still in them, but they definitely represent as separate cultivars.

The p generation is the original pair of parents at the start of a genetic cross experiment. The first generation that is produced by the p generation is called the F1 generation. The generation that is produced by crossbreeding the F1 generation is called the F2 generation...lol..and I know most know this but in that case you will not find anything available unless someone took his f1s yrs ago and kept em as they were..which hasn't happened anywhere I can see..this repro work is great to do but you can't help thinking this tom hill dude is the only doorway in..just for enquiry, what were the original p generation parents used in this famous haze?
