They encouraged his suicide, or assisted it allowed participated
Media has no place, advertising, the death of a person they encouraged...
not to mention it is a nightmare for social welfare and the state of our country...

Note: sometimes (after smoking?) I think about, kind of waver different possibilities for example whether this guy had other reasons for his beliefs. Maybe illuminati is real or masons are a thing, if the earth is not flat at all because we can see the horizon and planes and stuff what... because in a plane you can see, the Earth, with your eyes. He could have been a guy who never flew on a jet, only thought he could build a rocket, or maybe his brain wasn't able to process the concept of a sphere while passenger on the jet plane, it's beyond me.

then it comes back around 100% of the time, no I firmly do not believe this guy had different, alternative motivations. It is most likely that he actually, thought it was flat, whatever 'it' is, he is standing on and taking off from...:(
it is like a 1+1=3 or 1+1=1 club, kind of sad, like seeing inbred animals basically objectively inferior in every way to strong healthy stock. Instinctively you want to wipe the mold from the petri dish and start fresh. But animals rights and what not...

I wonder if he had a radio and what he said...

Ground control: "Mike your chute just deployed and tore off"

Mad Mike: "Is that was that what that sound was? Holy crap, this thing is moving!"

Ground Control: "Main engine cutoff Mike"

Mad Mike: "Yee haw! It's quiet now and I can still not see curvature. I was right!"

Mad Mike: "Deploying re-entry chute... hey! I don't feel the chute"

Ground Control: "Tried to tell ya Mike, it came off"

Mad Mike: "Shit"

Is teasing a dead man acceptable? I mean, with today's 'political correctness' police, i don't wanna step over the line.
I think with today's level of information and technology, believing the earth is flat might be a tad naive....

So, whaddaya think the last thing to go through Mike's mind was?

He is getting more fame than I ever will, and that's a good thing. Even 15 minutes is too much.

My guess is as the thing nosed over toward Earth, and his parachute release handle wasn't working, he was thinking that a parachute would be nice. Experimental airplanes say so on the side, his said research. Shit happens. It looked like it actually flew OK as long as it wasn't trying to drag the chute.

Steam propulsion huh?

These guys were professionals, had real experimental/research stuff, and still screwed up. Watch the video.

BTW, they are getting ready to start doing the rides, which are $250K each for 6-8? people at a time. Grander version of Mad Mikes deal, and he would have been ahead just booking a ride with Richard. Here is the company if people like stawk bubbles, this is almost right there with tesla.

I can't really say it's surprising that a guy who thinks the earth is flat died trying to fly a homemade rocket

RIP anyway....

"this isnt good, this is really not good"

Imagine being in that cockpit? The video is wild hahaha. Christ. Ive done alot of stupid shit but at least wear a parachute on your person too?

What a wild ride to the ground though. Just enough time to realize how fucking bad everything you just decided to do was.

Solid few seconds of "well fuck me"

Ejection button with your own chute packed seems to be a basic safety requirement.

Perhaps if he was convinced that the Earth is flat, then he thought he could fly...?

Or maybe he wasn't going to stop doing dumber and dumber stunts until he died anyway.
