Whodi, your good in my books homie, your always poppin into chat n shit but i think that statement is way off.. The Gov is fuckin it up for people in florida.. Them f*ckers will sign paper work n shit for the casinos to allow certain gamins in exchange for X amount of money without going through feds? now thats some shit that shows you its all about money..The move they did with the casinos was ILLEGAL now there fighting it..Money talks n the bullshit keeps walkin..

PurpleWreck, theres more then just 25-55 CUBAN males running ops, but they aint spotted at the stores most got mules that go in with a shopping list for them n there usually females :spank:

we all just gotta watch our self's n keep security as priority number 1 no matter what size of grow you got going on.. worry about your self n dont answer that damn door if you do 9 times outta 10 they will get in regardless cause they try n drill so much shit in your head people usually end up giving in if they have never been put on the spot with the feds :joint:

I am American and I do have a lot of pride for my country, even though a lot of shit is messed up. I mean no disrespect to cubans, even though it may seem that way.

I agree the lawmakers are fucked in the head and that is the MAIN problem. I just know that Cubans have a lot of control in Florida, therefore the government has to get tougher because of it. So in reality a lot of people are having to suffer these consequences, including the Cubans.

I don't mean to sound ignorant and act like it's just the Cubans fault. The media has made Cubans to be the bad guys, so my bad for kind of going along with them on it. The laws would of gotten harsher even if it weren't for the Cubans most likely, just saying the Cubans do have a huge impact on what has happened.

But i'm gonna squash this. I mean no disrespect and the laws are fucked. Just be safe everyone...

Oh i know 3 people presently that grow in fl all are white. i know one cuban that did grow but he was busted a few years ago for going to the hydro store and was followed home and the did a knock and talk. Just like this thread and my first statement is talking about. to be honest the police only go after cubans or spanish people. The only white people i know of that has been busted was a couple that had two mexicans working the houses with them. that made me think the Mexicans went to a hydro store an that is how the white people got caught. not everyone has mules and the can be followed and stake out the mule.

saying that "cubans in florida" are ruining it for everyone else is a lot like saying "mexicans in california" blah blah blah... this is partly true, BUT only in the sense that illegal immigrants (whom don't pay large portions into the tax pool) come here and use up some of our resources. doesn't matter where they're from, the fact is that anyone who doesn't pay the taxes everyone else does AND uses up a portion of our (the citizens') resources is gonna get some flak. NOW, the same situation AND the government knows you're breaking it's laws and MOST IMPORTANTLY taking money from the citizens (so taking the government's money, indirectly) and sending it out of country IS why cubans are getting cracked down on in florida and why mexicans are getting cracked down on in cali.

i mean, c'mon people this is all common sense and VERY logical. the government is VERY predictable: THEY BOUT GETTIN THAT PAPER!

i would like to end that by saying that just because our government (in the US) is INSANE, it doesn't make them unpredictable. everything happens for a reason, usually money.

No Cuban living within the United States is an 'illegal alien'.

Once they touch dry land, they're granted political asylum and given money to live. You can thank the Republicans for that.

Stop putting any blame on Immigrants. It's not their fault that our government gives them incentives to be here. It's our own fault for letting the government get so big.

Asians are doing the same thing on the west coast, ask anyone from SF or vancouver BC. Everything is racism, to the knee jerk liberal crowd.

Wow, what a coincidence. The White Biker Gangs, Black Street Gangsters, and Asian Motorcycle Gangs all found a common enterprise.

I'm sorry I offend you, but your ideology is irrational. As long as you try and blame other people for your own problems, you're an idiot. (Are you saying that everything would be better without the Asians growing???)

I'm not a liberal, I'm a Libertarian, bitch.

I'm probably the most racist person here. I love studying the differences in race (they're huge). We (Asians/Europeans/Africans) All evolved very differently, for very different reasons. That's just science. Leave your ideology out of it.

(PS: 'Haitians' aren't a race either, but they still experience a lot of racism. Just as 'Haitians' are of African descent, 'Cubans' are of Hispanic descent.)

no, the supply of weed would go down making it harder to find for many people. On the other hand, the mean potency would probably rise exponentially

i seriously doubt that.

i believe the term you are searching for is "discrimination." racism being a specific type of discrimination, but apparently not the one you are referring to.

pw How can you say you didn't say something when we can plainly read that you did? Come on ... You even quoted his quote of your post where You DID say the police ONLY go after cubans/spanish people ... Did I miss something or are you in denial of your true feelings ? Remember ... If you have to look for a justification for your words or actions they were probably Wrong to begin with. You should have skipped the denial and just explained what you were trying to get across.

Racsim, you dumbass, is defined as discrimination or the exclusion of individuals based on race, color, descent, country of orgin, or ethnicity. So if you happen to hate all Cubans, just cause that's who they are, then you are a racist.

Published Monday, July 7, 2008 at 9:50 p.m.

The procedure is called a "knock and talk," and any law enforcement officer can do it, said sheriff's Sgt. Dennis Romano.

"If we knock on the door and they say 'no,' we have to turn around and leave," he said. "... When you're not in law enforcement, sometimes you don't realize you can say 'no.'"

MOST of the time, even upon saying no, the fucks search anyways...Fuck you pigs!

Loose Lips Sink Hydroponic Ships

By Terry Shirley

EUREKA SPRINGS -- Jesse Brick was arrested last Thursday by Eureka Springs Police Department detective J.J. Reddick and charged with manufacturing marijuana at 1 Washington St.

Reddick seized 153 plants, most of them immature, but 20 to 30 of them sporting buds. Some were being grown hydroponically [in water] and some were in soil. Reddick estimated the weight of the pot will be 10 pounds or less once it has dried. The mature plants are currently hanging in the police department evidence room drying out.

Anonymous tipster

The detective's investigation began when an anonymous female informer called the police department and reported a grow operation in the basement of No. 1 Washington. Reddick told the woman that without more evidence he could not get a search warrant. She then told him that a man named Phillip was staying in the apartment building, was selling drugs and no one was doing anything about it. When Reddick asked her if she knew Phillip's last name she told him she thought it was Phillip Tudor. He checked with dispatch and a valid Eureka Springs warrant for failure to appear in court on minor traffic charges turned up on Phillip Tudor. This gave Reddick a legal reason to go to the apartment building.

What's in the basement?

Accompanied by officers Brian Young and Aaron Thompson, Reddick went to the apartment building where they encountered a man who identified himself as Phillip Browning. When questioned about what was going on in the basement, Browning denied any knowledge of the grow operation.

Reddick then made contact with Jesse Brick in Apartment 1. He advised Brick that he was aware of the grow operation in the basement and wanted to know who was involved and who had keys to the downstairs.(LIE.) According to Reddick's narrative in the Affidavit for an Arrest Warrant, a very nervous Brick, after being given his statement of rights, implicated one of two men living in a neighboring apartment as having "a couple of plants." Reddick told Brick that he [Brick] had been seen near the grow operation and the building's owner was on the way.

'Man with a Mohawk'

Attempting to make contact with someone in the apartment that allegedly "had a couple of plants," Reddick engaged a woman sitting on a nearby back porch in conversation, and asked her if she had seen anyone near the door of the suspected grow operation. She told Reddick she had seen a man with a Mohawk haircut. Brick was wearing a Mohawk.

Reddick advised Brick that he had been seen near the grow operation and asked Brick if he would go with Reddick to the Eureka Springs police department to answer some questions. Brick agreed.

At the police station Brick was again given his statement of rights and said he was there of his own volition according to the affidavit for an Arrest Warrants.

'Everyone knows'

Reddick asked Brick who was involved and Brick told the cop that "everything was too much," and he [Reddick] would find less than 45 plants. The affidavit also says that Brick said "everyone in the apartment knows about it" [the growing operation]. Reddick said Brick told him where in Brick's apartment the detective would find a key and that another resident of the apartment building had given away a number of keys.

Although others have been implicated, Reddick says there is not enough evidence to warrant additional arrests.

When the owner of the building arrived, Reddick received permission to search the unfinished apartment that has dirt floors. There Reddick found lights, fans and irrigation systems that supported 153 plants that ranged from sprouts to mature plants with buds, some being grown in water and some in dirt.

According to Reddick, Brick has been charged with "manufacturing, delivering or possessing with intent to manufacture or deliver." Reddick said the offense is a Class C felony punishable, upon conviction, with incarceration for no less than five years and no more than 20 years.

Brick has been released on a $15,000 cash or professional bond with conditions which were not known at press time.

Mr. Brick should have kept his mouth shut. :bashhead:

Burglary nets 40 pot plants
Police looking for a person of interest

By Nicole Willis | July 09, 2008

WINTER SPRINGS - A neighbor's burglary call Saturday led to the discovery of 40 marijuana plants in a Winter Springs home, and police are searching for the man suspected of cultivating the plants.

Responding to a burglary call from a neighbor Saturday night at 6:30 p.m., police saw a woman inside 666 Nighthawk Circle in the Greenspointe subdivision and asked her to come outside.

When she quickly closed the blinds, police entered the house through the open garage. After securing the woman, the police looked for other suspects involved in the supposed break-in. They soon discovered the cultivation and possession of marijuana - 40 budding plants to be exact, according to a press release.

One marijuana plant is worth about $1,000, Kim Cannaday of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said. This means about $40,000 worth of marijuana was contained in a bedroom of the single-family home. Norma Cottle owns the home, but is not a suspect in the case.

Police have identified the person of interest, but his name has not been released because he is a flight risk, said Winter Springs Police Captain Kevin Brunelle.

The woman police found in the house is the person of interest's girlfriend. She was questioned at the scene and then dismissed.

The one-story home where police responded is actually situated next to an empty lot filled with tree and brush, and the neighborhood's houses are generally spaced very close together.

Also found in the home was a safe containing a Raging Bull .454 handgun, several lighters, a small bag of marijuana, a bottle of personal lubricant and charcoal briquettes. (WTF?!)

Brunelle said the manufacture of illegal drugs is a felony, and the penalty for such an offense varies. These penalties depend on the type of drug and the amount, he said.

"Possession of marijuana busts are extremely common within Seminole County," Brunelle said.

Moral of the Story: Keep your window blinds closed at all times. It's sad, but it gives the police too much leverage. She was forced to communicate with them as soon as they saw her. Her best option at that point would have been to walk outside, and lock the door behind her. Having the garage door left open was also a mistake.

The scariest thing that can happen to a cautious grower is a fake 911 call. Be prepared for this.
