you will need to lower that a bit...
check it again after mixing up some nutes, it will lower it a bit. then take pH again. adjust from there, not the current 8.1!
you want it in the 6.5-6.8 range in the medium you are going to use.
you want it in the 5.5-5.8 range in hydro.
