shijeah pedrero these are the convo's i miss on here! out of the box thinkin on weed!!! It's funny bc instead of throwin leaves on floor like usual last few months i've been mulchin em on their pots n have been gettin a few more days between waterings. I use livin mulch in the outdo garden alfalfa clover. The farmers rotate alfalfa in every few seasons in the corn fields to fix N defishinthesea. I think it works great and it keeps me from tilling in new ish too.. i put extra mulch/ straw grass on over winter n that helped keep microherd thriving as well. less is more i truly believe

Hey buddy hope all is going well for you.

I miss organics and soil biota working for me.

Might mix up a fresh batch of soil soon to cook and use in the coming months for head stash jars.

cheers brotha and good growing.

definitely , less is more with organics I think ... I don't know if I would call myself organic though because I feed a liquid fertilizer of micros when the girls seem hungry about once a week . I have definitely seen a boost in growth since feeding a more neutral pH and adding nature to my pots....the mulch definitely helps with the watering and I love to see that little white mold on my dirt that let me know that my soil is living .....I will soon be getting predatory mites also so my azamax and neem treatments can come to an end , I believe that my girls like for me to leave them alone and let them do their thing they seem way happier :tiphat:

I always felt I didn't have enough decaying matter for the rollie pollies they definately want that dead shit , also my worm bin is taking along time to get the jumping I haven't been feeding to heavy and the soil is moist buti still only see a few worms wtf guys :dunno:

I think whatever grow style it is the ladies like to be left alone. If theyre set up right, they don't really need much more from us. Now that Im back in the plantry, I spend maybe 10-15 minutes a night with them - and that 15 is on a feed night.

Yo! Just keep in mind, your predator mites need something to eat -- namely, the mites you don't want around. Which is cool, but it also means that when the don't-want-around mites are gone, your predatory mites won't have much left to snack on, and they too will be gone. :tiphat:

(Which ain't necessarily a bad thing, since no mites of any kind is still better than just hungry predator mites.) :)

maybe the worm bin is too acidic? each species of worms likes a certain pH.

Have you tried giving them the micros foliarly? they can absorb them pretty well. that's why the calcium spray works great and shows an immediate response. it's harder for potassium and nitrogen unless phos is also used which is the mobilizer for the plant. People fix and diagnosis deficiency this way too like iron, or cal/mag.

Then you wouldn't have to give them the micros at the soil level :tiphat:

I actually do give them the foliar of micros from time to time but the d
Effect doesn't seem to last as long as a root drenched of micros....also with the root drench the soil will hold the nuts for q moment , so the plants will use them as nececasary the foliar works very well with epsom salts though they love getting bathed with that
