Got the doors completely framed in, and the middle wall in last night. Just the end wall and A/C box is lacking before we're completely framed in. I'll grab a few pics on break.
Sealant is ready to go. We'll be filling in some of the larger cutouts and cracks with Great Stuff, and then the joints will be caulked in. After that, we'll line it all with panda poly, get in our ventilation and lights, then we're off to the races!
A different front perspective to put things in place. The fan is pretty much in its proper place relative the plans on page one.
And here's a view of where the air conditioner plenum/duct will be built.
If you take a look at that relative to the plan pictures earlier in the thread, you should have a pretty good gauge on what's going on and the progress made.
Heya Sonoma! Yeah, semi-rigid definitely makes a difference. Only place I'll be using flex duct is coming from the main duct down to the cool tube.
And yeah, the Christmas tree is getting a bit of a workout
uncleFREEDOM - Interesting suggestions! I can't say I understand them, as I'm not sure how a rolling cart would work better than just walking into the room to tend the plants. I am planning on doing some scrogging, although not with a screen like you're referring to, but a modular (per plant) screen.
Update:
All the major framing is done. Doors are in place, and ventilation holes are roughed in. On the agenda for today are the flinishing touches. The A/C plenum duct is going in, Then we'll tack on the poly and run the ventilation. Final step will be to add in the wired cool tubes.
All in all, it looks like I was right on with my timing.
Hopefully we'll flip to the grow thread tomorrow evening. Not tonight of course, because a burn in needs to be done. I'll update pics and such periodically through out the finishing touches today.
Damn i am not the best with drawing, so i will try to explain...
correct me if i am wrong but your pod sizes are 4x4x7 right???
well are you planing on using the whole 4x4 floor space??? Because if you are then you will find it a pain in the as to reach back to the back plants to work on them. (remember you have to be on guard for molds and such.)
Now if you took some 2x4 and made up a frame at 4x4, laid ply down on top of it, and attached 4 castor wheels to the bottom, you could have a movable cart, to pull the crop right out so it is easy to work on. (trust me out do not want to be trying to reach back 4 feet!)
so simply remove the 2x4 from the front of the pods and insert said carts and your life has gotten alot easier!
now i might have missed something in your description, and please correct me if i am wrong.
Gives me some inspiration as I am about where you are with regards to construction completion. For me stealth is number 1 so I took alot of time to design my room so everything is hidden and quiet and it looks like a storage closet with a big ol deadbolt on it. We'll see how the best laid plans end up........
Good luck to you and can't wait to see it all fired up!
Ah, there's the confusion uncleFREEDOM  I'm not planning on packing the pod. There are only going to be 4 plants in the flower pod. Plus, I'm not level with the floor, so I'd have to build a ramp for the cart. Cool idea though.
Heya Heady! Best laid plans of mice and men...
I'm hoping to have everything pretty much done tonight.
A/C is done. All that remains to be done is the panda poly and ventilation system. I'm calling my schedule right on, because we could have been done today, but we had to take a coupla forced breaks.
Here's the finishing up of the A/C plenum duct.
Fitting the plywood

"But wait Nite, how do you adjust your air conditioner when it's built into a box like that?" You build a hatch
