Technically this site already has the attention of the law since we discuss illegal growing. However we bring even more attention when we discuss additional felonies. I have posted on some of the threads but I am careful of what I say. I don't want to flout the law. Right now there is a trend in law enforcement to only pay attention to the bigger crimes that is taking some heat off of the normal home grower.

Those same law enforcement will come back with more heat if they think there is financial gains involved as well. Someone here before has said "if you are gonna grow and commit that crime, it is best not to be committing other felonies as well." Other threads have crossed into the other hot box of selling pretty easy also.

The sight administrators are treading very carefully. They don't won't this sight to become the next Overgrow. Nor do they wish to be put in the situation where they would be subpoenaed about members here.

My advice is to get a DBA(doing busines as) license at your local goverment building(county clerk).this business certificate will give you the ability to start a business bank account at any bank that offers them. you will be able to deposit and withdraw as much cash as you like without worry and only get taxed on any interest you accumulate over i think $20 which would be tough to do with todays interest rates

I agree its best not to bring up the issue... since we were asked not to.

But hell... the search function should point ya out to some old threads on the subject? (unless all have been deleted)

I think some people are a bit off.. this is a growing forum for only growing... well.. take a look around... all kinds of off topic forums then.

That being said this is a security forum.. so some issues were brought up for that reason.

"laundering" is done by almost every smart small business owner imo... you gotta take some off the top to get by.
And in this trade... even if you are medical... doesn't mean you want all that on the books for the feds to check out.. and use against ya perhaps.. (dunno if they stopped since obama?)

But.. if there's still old threads... and you insist upon getting that info from this site.... do a search.. should be tons of info on the subject... no need to post a new thread for the same thing 1000 times anyways.

Bullshit! Weed is still illegal in the Netherlands, (assuming that's where you're referring to).

If you sell your pot, you're laundering your money.

I feel that selling pot is just as legitimate as smoking pot.

Hence, laundering money from pot sales should be just as legitimate as smoking pot.

HOWEVER, we live in a fucked up world where not much is fair, and social norms shift over time.

The feds CANNOT stop marijuana cultivators. It's a tide that will soon drown anyone who tries to stop it.

Money launderers? Now that's a group of people that the feds CAN stop.
