I think you know the difference between the charges regarding growing Cannabis for personal use and that of the laundering of money.

NO NO NO NO, here is where I say growing = gay marriage = $10,000.01 and hurting no ONE.

I don't know the difference between one victim less MADE UP crime and some other victim-less MADE UP crime.

If you believe someone with $10,000.01 is evil and someone with 3 plants is Mother Teressa, then we are in different camps.

We are associated with the Mother Teressa's if you like it or not, and one day one of them might have more than $10,000.00.

I have no desire to bow to the pigs. We don't associate with METH COOKERS here, but that doesn't mean we agree with the DEA or feds interpretation of cannabis.

Discussion is better than direction, but until this policy is changed I won't discuss the how to's or where for's of currency transactions. Using their word "Laundering" is a bitch like supplication to them already.

Since 9/11 we have given up many rights under the patriot act. They have arrested and detained many over questionable money handling techniques. Just like the fed used the patriot act as a tool to broaden their enforcement of drugs they will certainly use it here if you are all out in the open (like Marc Emery) in their face about it. They can do a lot of stuff if they get a good enough reason to. Money is the governments biggest beef, always has been. If I owned a site and it was making a profit on one kind of thing that was illegal I would not allow something on the site that is more illegal and brought in zero revenue. I am sure the internet is full of sites dedicated to all the other crimes in the country if you look hard enough.

It's not a question of what laws we agree with or disagree with. Many laws are unjust in my opinion. But what we try to avoid are those issues that are most likely going to put attention on us, or one or more of our members.

We understand that growing is illegal in most parts of the world that our members live in. But we believe people should have that right. That's what this site is about. And maybe some day we'll be targeted for this. But we don't need to speed up that process or give anyone any added reasons to target us or our members. Hopefully that day never comes....

FWIW I actually agree with and completely understand the moderators and administrators decision to shut that thread and threads like it down. I only speak to this nauseating and transparent and hypocritical tendency in some to play E-gangsta and laugh in the face of anyone who has questions of the financial side of cannabis cultivation.

Let's remember what I've said before: most of us growers would love to pay taxes on our crops if it were rational to do so. I hate the fact that I have to play these bullshit financial games. I'd love to be legitimate, and feel I have the crops to compete in a totally open, legal market. So do many of us.

also if you knew anything about american ISPs, deep packet inspection and the unbridled access they give LEO you might now be so brazen

Not true. I learned everything I know about cannabis from the internet. "Real game?"
I don't know what that is. It's sounds like something the kids who blare 2pac in the crappy neighborhood a few miles away would say with a subsequent pronouncement of "thug life." I don't know if I have "real game," I dont' consider myself a gangsta or something. But cannabis has brought me a great life in many ways, and I learned everything I know from the Overgrow.com and icmag.com.

I use to deal with em' for a living. If LEO wants your info, they'll get it without the ISP's permission. It's a risk talking about this shit online to be sure. A microscopic one, though.

I live in the United States sir, so there is no such thing as a legal market where I'm from. Peru doesn't seem appetizing.
