We get what we deserve, for not voting consistently. If all of the stoners in Ohio had voted in 04, we would have a different administration, and the dea would have been pulled back from busts in med states. It is my fault for taking two decades off to have a family and a corporate career. It is your fault too, each of us. We can not accomplish anything till we accept the fact that we do have power and we can make a difference.

The position of the growers lobby in the US, is - Weed is for Voters! We can turn the tide, imagine the talk around the office cooler - "man, my dealer made me promise to register and vote, or he would not sell me weed, what's up with that?" Yeah, mine too, he said the weed growers are fed up with oppression, and won't sell him pounds unless he makes everybody promise to vote". "Man, maybe shit will change if the stoners are gaining momentum at the grass roots level, guess we better vote!"

I know I am dreaming, but such dreams are needed to show us the way to the future.

i am 1 that agrees this country could be more like what we are taught the founding fathers wanted. not enough of us vote... many realized it didnt matter, goes off electoral votes not the avg folk. whatever personal reasons may be, ya then have folks comin up w/ scams to make registered voters inelligable by mailing them something requiring a response at a time the person was unable to return the mail (like fighting in iraq). this i learned from PBS. tv isnt bad its most programs that are bad.
