getting better. background is easier on eyes, larger lettering too, lots of stuff i enjoyed no longer here. still a lot of wasted space, this will prob also change. not getting repeated "502" messages since i quit going to various "funny picture" threads. don't know WTF that is all about...

- it wasn't really a choice to upgrade to this new software - we had to do it - for security reasons if nothing else - the old sites software was 15 years old and wasn't meshing well with modern internet browser security protocols - it was out-of-date - the new site is safer - and potentially this new software gives us all more options to expand and communicate in different ways - its just a matter of time and change - something that weighs in on all of us -

its not my first time using a phone ffs . But thanks for your time u put into your post . . Still would like my account removed . Just tons of stuff i used to use not found ect i understand the security issues ect . But still want my account removed . I think its time for me to move on. For the ppl talking abt free and i shouldnt bitch . yeah your right but these things are a dime a dozen (cannabis forums) all of them are free btw . The small print is effecting my vision from squinting at it so long, that I have problems now reading in general. Need to expand and use the full screen. The only view I ever used or cared about was the list of threads I posted in, and ordered by which was most recently posted to. That with list of friends on side, and whether they were online.
The messaging function truly blows, unless you start a new message everytime. I replied back and forth, and have to scroll for days, and not sure what is new.

- I hear your concerns - and yeah - even for me this is a change I would rather not have to go thru - this learning curve - but ultimately we can change and augment things with this new software - making the ICMAG experience more user friendly - and even familiar - the message function does need looking at and a few other things need attention - its been a work in progress - and should always be -

i suggest that everyone change the size of their text click on the letter A it's on top of your posts underlined green color then click the three dots and right next to font you will find numbers that's the size of the text

Hopefully your IT guys can work on some of the issues I (and many others) am dealing with here...
1. Too much space is wasted on each page...Way too much scrolling is necessary.. What used to be on one line of space now takes 4 or 5...
2. Too much bandwidth required.. Where I live in the country, fast internet is not available at any price...(unless you have Bill Gates' wallet) Buffering is WAY longer than before.
3. I want to be able to see the list of threads I post in... (Old version was "My Posts")
4. Finding my albums is a pain in the ass.. And when I do, most of my pictures are gone...Where are they?
5. Where's my "Friends List"? There's certain members on here who I like or respect, and I want to see what they have to say...
6. I use to be able to preview and edit my comment before posting, on one page..Now I have to click back and forth..
7. I liked being able to highlight certain words in my comments by being able to put them in bold text, or larger font or in colored text...
8. I see whole lot of newbies who just got on here who seem determined to make icmag like so many other cannabis forums with their smart ass comments...
My advice: Contribute to the site, Help others with questions they have and have a good sense of humor...We don't need smart-ass instigators here...
There's quite a few more but they slip my mind right now...
I don't wanna pat my own back, but I believe I use to have the respect of quite a few members, for info I shared on this forum..
I don't wanna leave, but this new upgrade is difficult to navigate as easily and quickly as the old one..
Hopefully, the IT guys can try to get the site back to similar to way it used to work...
bud makes a lot of great points and i hope the forum continues to evolve and grow; another feature i miss is the "scales" form of liking a post

I've always felt that to truly gauge a man's character, one must first observe that man's reaction when faced with adversity. I've been doing a lot of observing in the last week.
I had a feeling it was related to computer security.
But a forum software change doesn't really seem like adversity.
