oh the fur was flying in detroit! 52-6 with the blue cats hitting on all cylinders
the garbage eaters handed kc their first loss of the season (thanks baba) and the rams were able to ride $taffords arm into the nakua
pit beats b'more and is looking better and better each week
/where you at @superx

@shithawk420
thanks man, its was really good, nice seasoned chicken wrapped in this super light and flakey dough
i am def going to get these again

@Bababooey
i guess im just a cold weather wuss, 40* is freaking cold
yeah man, i can believe its almost thanksgiving so soon, like we talked about before this year is flying by
there are actually two pastries in the pic, i was hoping the second one would depict the size better
they are actually decent size, but yeah man, i could see smashing half a dozen in a day easily (still that would be like what a $9)
i had two of them today but i was also munching on a banh mi as well
when i was there a lady came in and bought them by the box load! in like those pink boxes you would get a doughnut in
she said she was having a party and they make a great finger food, i wonder if they give a discount if you buy so many?
if they dont over do it a good torta has just a smear of beans, so its like this added layer of protein, but like you said not the main flavor
i think the tyson v paul fight was a joke and i just cant help but feel boxing is kind of ... funny
you are right that paul is nothing special
its the same sht with the mcgregor fight where it just seems to be a huge sideshow now but hey, who does not like a money grab
yeah i know she has been on some dates and she has a new group of friends who are rich single ladies who like to go out and have fun
i dont think your comment was callous at all and i appreciate you telling me what you think
it is what it is
Well pops what’s the craic, hope every one is doing fine, Steelers have the grit between their teeth my good man, fields is having a field day. Seen highlights of the Baltimore game and Washington, was a cagey affair.. If the trend continues I might splash the cash on this, wat you think? Honest opinion of course..
IMG_1655.jpeg

Knowing my luck, I might find it under the Christmas tree, herself seen me eyeing it up the other day. Would much prefer the usual socks.

What’s going on with the sausage roll, chicken is a new one on me.. Do you like black pudding ? Usually a blend of pigs blood, oats and cereal/grain and lightly spiced, it would be typically served with your breakfast fry up.. My old man use to swear it would put hairs on your chest. I got the black pudding recently wrapped in the similar pastry puff/blitz, it just resembles a sausages roll. Was good eating and was heavy like a house brick..
The nation was built on swine..

hahah, jake paul wants to fight mcgregor now? (will it be mma rules)
i thought this guy was supposed to be a boxer and not some sideshow act
mr.hand was very generous to forgive that debt, i would not have been so nice

@shithawk420
thanks man, pastries are on me
hope you are feeling better

@superx
whats the craic x'man?! how are things on your end?
the holidays are coming up and the seasons are changing
thats a nice looking shirt (i like the half-zip) but its not a pittsburgh steelers shirt
the colors you want to look for are black and yellow

https://www.nflshop.com/pittsburgh-...PDP:m-RV:pi-PDP_RECOMMENDATIONS_1:i-r0c1:po-1
/and its 50%off!
pitt does has the grit between their teeth and could be a dark horse contender in the playoffs
there are always those underdog teams you dont want to face in the playoffs, a team that will turn your lights out regardless of who they are playing and pitt could be it
ive never had black pudding, but it sounds good
nice hearty food perfect to fill the belly in a cold climate
do you guys decorate the home for christmas?

@Bababooey
do i tihkn the lions are going to make the superbowl? yes
/how much money do you have on ya
bills are swimming in deeper water with the red chiefs on the warpath
i like kc to tell you the truth but the garbage eaters are a fun team and im not going to fade them just yet
/see previous comment about that team that can turn your lights out
another team thats been turning up the heat is lacocs, led by herbert and the chargers defense
but we know chargirls are going to shit the bed in the playoffs but thats ok; they dont deserve nice things
#f-spanos
/watch they will lose to pitt
im having fun with the rams with season and like you said, its a work in prgress
these new guys from the florida indian school are proving to be legit
add in the sooper cooper pooker combo and its a good game
/except when its not
if you host a party i will show up with a box pf those pastries, and maybe some other delicious treats

Love those Irish terms, superx. Craic? Crack usually means something totally different here in the States. It's what Hawk smokes when he needs a pick me up. I may or may not have done a fair amount of coke myself, i dont know, i plead the fifth.

That seems like a nice zip up turtleneck thing, not sure what you'd call it but looks warm and clean. Im always a bit wary of buying stuff like that cause i know i'd get stains on it in no time. But i bet it'd look good on you.

Blood sausage isnt as common here as black pudding is in the UK or Ireland, but ive had a fair amount of blood sausage and ive liked it. Doesnt really taste like blood/minerals, more savory like real meat. Which is the point, i guess.

Chef Russ has led the Steelers to 4 straight wins, including over Baltimore yesterday. I did not expect that, even though Lamar has struggled against Pitt. Is it possible that mike tomlin can lead the steelers to the superbowl with 2 castoff QBs in Russell Wilson and Justin fields? If he does, he's a top 5 coach all time.

I hear bill belichick's current girlfriend (the mermaid) is like 24, and he's 72, so like 3x older than her? Geez Bill, youre really living the life, huh? Im thinking, would i *uck someone young enough to be my granddaughter? And the answer i keep coming up with is 'yeah sure, why not, if she's into it?'.

he was just casting a line and it looks like he sure hooked up there
/i bet she has nice feet
maybe im just not using the right bait
the whole russ thing is kind of complex because i could say he left a crappy team with crappy leadership ( j.fields on line one) but bo nix seems to be doing ok in that system in denver and if he gets some pieces around him in time could could thrive
russ is making sandwiches in pitt and i am a big fan of m.tomlin (their head coach)
i cant say the same for chi, i think j.fields (ques up hippy song) is the opposite where he might have potential but whats the missing piece
so now im wondering how tdo you pronounce the word craic? would it rhyme with craic is wake
x'man just made it sound cool so i picked it up

Is Mr. Bill like a spoof of a children's puppet show, Buzz?
Mr. Bill got his start on Saturday Night Live in the mid-70s. He had a dog named Spot who often ended up dead (forerunner to Kenny) at the hands of Mr. Hand and Mr. Sluggo. Oh NOOO! I thought he was hilarious.

Honest opinion of course..
I like the look of it, but it looks like something an American tourist might wear. It does not have the black and yellow Steelers colors.

This site has a cool design:
how the fishing
It was a bit rough out there. MamaD said "Throw it back! Too bony!" It has been WAY too long since my last surf fishing trip. I gots the monkey on me now.

The Steelers have done much better than I expected from them this year. I salute your thought process you laid out in the quote above; why not indeed?
maybe im just not using the right bait
You have to master baiting.

Hey Babba, I hear ya on the craic, I got up at the crack of dawn this morning, was bitterly cold with light ground frost, temps are expected to dip as low as -2 / -3 tonight, refreshing. Times like these I’m more concerned about my plants. I’ve switched to organics this round and so far so good, looks like lots of males will be getting culled over the next few days.

Craic sounds exactly how it reads, crack.. Have you got any crack? no craic here my good man..

Guys I was asking for your honest opinion on the sweatshirt ha-ha.
I wouldn’t wear it for a bet, or if someone sponsored me.. I made that clear with her good self, I didn’t want her getting the wrong idea.

Hey pops,
Christmas time I always look forward to, I’m a sucker for the fairy lights, the old Christmas lights. LEDs give a more cosmic feel.. If I could, I would keep the lights up all year. I still have some orange pumpkin lights draped over the fire place from Halloween.. I might go for an upside down Christmas tree this year ha-ha, have you seen those? Will more than likely grab a spruce from the neighbouring field.. I’m due 4 weeks holidays, plenty of time to food prep and feast like a pig. Hopefully Santa leaves a sack of craic..

Will you guys be celebrating with your families and love ones ? I look forward to the Brussel sprout challenge, I got this roulette table bought as a present, black/red each colour has a shot glass sitting on it, some are filled with whiskey/vodka/Mountain Dew, and some of the colours have sprouts on them ha-ha, my mate last year spun the wheel and landed on a sprout 3 times in a row, no such luck unless you like sprouts 🤢 was good banter..

Take it easy everyone…

LOL! That is good to hear.

Our holiday season begins on Thanksgiving. The Christmas tree goes up the day after. I have a brother and sister and their spouses within a 45 minute drive and we get together. I used to string lights all over the outside of the house. I am restricted to a 6' step ladder these days. No more climbing on the roof. There is a family a few miles south of us that has decorated their house since 2008. Over the years the neighbors have joined in the display and it is very colorful to say the least. Stoners love it.

Being famous and rich is good bait for catching a sugar baby.
Ive already mastered baiting, in fact i do it several times a week. Good for the prostate y'know.

Bo nix may have surpassed jayden daniels as Off Rookie of the year with his recent performances. Quite surprising cause the first few wks bo did not look like a capable nfl passer but was willing to use his legs to pick up yards. Now he's got a 9-1 td-int ratio his last 4 games. But he's not your typical nfl rookie, he's 24 and spent 5 yrs in college where he started 61 games.

Pittsburgh has a sandwich where they heap fries and cole slaw on it, it's pretty good, like an all-in-one meal. I wonder if chef russ has had one yet.

Chicago got a couple starters back on the o-line so the blocking was better, some of the backup o-linemen they had to play last week shouldnt even be in the league. Also the new off coordinator seemed to encourage caleb to scramble more, it was nice to see him pick up 1st downs and run out of bounds then hold the ball and take a sack. I won my chicago +5.5 bet, this time last week i was willing to bet packers by 20 but with the change in OC and OL starters returning i reversed myself.

I remember those SNL skits, Buzz, and thought that was where it was from but wasnt sure. Lol, those 70s years were the best: Eddie, Belushi, Chevy, Akroyd, Gilda and jane curtin. SNL generated plenty of stars later (ferrell, fey etc) but nothing like those 70s years.

I think Superx just wanted a pittsburgh clothing item, not necessarily a steelers one. It's a good looking sweatshirt, clean and simple, could be a nice conversation starter (pittsburgh? where's that?)

Is there a fishing season in FL, Buzz, or is it year round? You live, what, a couple hrs from the ocean? I guess you can make it a day trip, bit of a long one but if u have a good catch should be worth it.

Youre using organic nutes, superx? Do u have a grow thread? Are you using liquid organic nutes or stuff like guano? Hope it makes the bud taste better and burn cleaner.

Here in chicago we call crack 'rocks'. And no, it doesnt mean 'fun'. Well, yes it does, i guess, but a different sort of fun. And yes, there will be lots of talking after you have some.

Upside down Christmas tree, eh? That would be wild. Im guessing you'd have to punch a few holes in your ceiling for that but they wouldnt be too much work to patch up later.

I have not heard of the brussels sprout challenge, i dont mind the taste of 'em but ur right, it's a poor substitute for a proper drink.

Im surprised there's not a charge for a light show like that, Buzz. Cant imagine what their electric bill must be. I guess if the lights are going only a few hours a night it's not so bad. But that's a show that some places around here (park districts, Chicago botanic garden, etc) would charge $10-30 for...

There are some closed seasons on certain saltwater fish. I think grouper and flounder are closed now. Yes it is right at 2 hours to get to my favorite spot. Half a day travel time seems longer every year. A few hours on the beach can wear me down even more these days. It is very difficult to catch anything but a buzz and a nap from the couch. My advice is Do Not Get Old.
Im surprised there's not a charge for a light show like that, Buzz.
There are donation boxes for those people who appreciate a good show. We have been going off and on for years. The last couple of years has really been spectacular. The small neighborhood is all lit up and ends in a cul de sac. There can be a line of cars out to the highway on some nights.

Spectacular light show Buzz, I bet you can see that from space 😆 I'm guessing those donation boxs will go along way to help pay for the electricity bills.

Its good your getting together at thanksgiving,(even if it's not that often like myself) how's your house coming along from the floods, any lasting damage like structural or groundswork.
Hoping your over the worst of it anyway...

Hey babba, its a liquid feed, biobizz with worm castings as a top dressing.. Lemon tree which I'm currently vaping on tastes divine and is so addictive, I got this of a friend who is also running biobizz along with the same hps lighting as myself.

The lemon tree cut has been doing the rounds for quite a while, I have grown it in coco/flood and drain using clay pebbles and nft. The biobizz tastes 👌 my vape stinks of it the following day, a small bud sitting on the kitchen table can be smelled through out the house.. I hope to replicate that taste and flavour by simply switching to biobizz, time will tell, I spilled some fish mix on my top the last evening and didn't realise until I sat down with some friends, the stench was foul, I didn't hang around long..

Previously when running coco it became such a daily chore with hand feeding as I wasn't automated, would send aman around the bend, the novelty was nice until it wore off..
This won't be the case with soil, the daily feeds (the taste and flavour did it for me)
I'm not running a journal as I wouldn't want to make a holy show of myself, and for the life of me can't see what anybody could learn from me, I guess they are handy when the shit hits the fan and advice is at hand.
If that is the case I won't have to far to run.. I have journals when using flood and drain and coco on another forum under the same user name...

Babba, I need to brush up on my geography incase I get that question threw at me about pittsburgh, maybe there's 2 0r 3 pittsburghs.. I'm liking the hoodie Buzz posted, I only ever wear hoodies unless there's a wedding or funeral, I'm as casual as they come..

oh no mr.bill, haha i havent seen that in ages
that is a really nice christmas lights display and this one of my favorite times of the year to go on my night walks
the halloween decorations have all come down :( but there are a bunch of houses that have started putting up chrismas lights and holiday stuff
/when it gets really good i will be sure to take some pics
there are a few neighborhoods like that one close by, where every house is decorated and its a festival of lights and people just milling about
/this is one mf my favorites and its just down the street from my place

thats awesome that you have so much family close by, is it always at your place or do you guys have a rotation
/or just running wild and nekkid from place to place like a bunch of hopped up holiday savages
so what are your thoughts on thanksgiving food

@superx
yeah man, i love the holidays with all the lights and cheer
the mrs used to light candles and decorate the house but now that its just me i dont do sht
have you seen those led projectors you can get and it covers your house in holiday lights or other festive themes
the holidays are the best time to take that pto because you get free days mixed in, (at least here in the states)
for instance next week is thanksgiving and you get thursday/friday off as holidays, so you stack three other day onto that and now its like a real vacation
so waht do you guys like to feast on for the holidays?
hand watered flood and drain table! wow man, that sounds like a lot of work
the lemon tree sounds like fire man and i hope you are stinking up the house with your crop
is this the only strain you are running now?

@Bababooey
do you guys have california burritos out there, its a carne asada burrito but it has french fries in it
its a popular burrito here and i think they are ok, but for the most part i would rather the fries on the side
....BOING....
i wonder if i could order it like that? and now i have a carne asada burrito with a side of fries for the same price
/ive previously ordered the milanesa burrito with the beans on the side and its was still just as good plus i had beans on the side
im digging on pitt more and more and knocking off b'more was a big feather in their cap
i dig mike tomlin and think he is totally a top-15 coach of all time, but i havent really put much thought into that list (shula...ummm fill in the blanks)
i like bo nix and think he is coming along, the afc.w is a tough division to be in right now but he is holding his own

We have a monthly dinner that rotates among the three households.
All is well down below. No lasting damage that I can see. With the onset of colder temperatures and dormant trees and grass any heavy rain in the winter can cause water to infiltrate the basement. As long as the sump pump runs I won't be doing any wading. It will be a little squishy.

I love the upside down tree @superx.
thats awesome that you have so much family close by, is it always at your place or do you guys have a rotation
We figure it out each year. This year it will be at our house. We are cooking the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy. My siblings and spouses are bringing the "go withs" one of which is a pecan pie from my brother. MamaD will make a pumpkin pie for me later.

Happy Hump Day.
Who would decorate dogs for Christmas, @pop_rocks ?

Youre old but not obselete yet, Buzz. A day fishing trip sounds tiring with all the driving and fighting the surf and the fish. It does sounds like a (slightly) younger man's game when you put it like that.

I wonder what the residents do if they need to leave or come back home during the light show? Everyone looks like theyre going 5mph through the neighborhood. Best to plan around it i guess.

My one grower buddy i think did soil and liquid organic nutes, Superx, not sure of the brand (fox farm soil and maybe it was biobizz nutes but could have been some other brand) but his stuff always tasted and smelled top notch as well. It's funny but i think the smell is almost a drawback at times, especially if youre wanting to be stealthy. But u use a vape pen and also sometimes concentrates so the smell isnt a dead giveaway sometimes.
Sounds like youve got everything dialed in, but if you need advice im sure there's tons of people here or in your other forum that would give you their 2 cents.

Im sure there's other towns named 'Pittsburgh' in the US, you'll always find some small rural town named Miami or Manhattan, etc. But nothing major, not like the real Pittsburgh, which actually isn't that big a city compared to most others. I would think the UK/Ireland has a fair # of towns ending in "-burgh" as well...

Ah haha, i just did a quick google search and saw the upside tree was attached to the ceiling but that's brilliant, just make an upside down one is way easier. Not sure if it'll catch on other than as a novelty, here in the states turning something upside down (gang hand signs, flags, etc) usually means youre dissing or disrespecting it, and who would disrespect Christmas?

It's interesting that you have these neighborhoods that collectively put up these outrageous displays all over the country. Is this just an american thing or do u see stuff like this in the UK/Ireland, superx?
I think what puts it over the top is setting everything to music, and coordinating the lights to the sound. That's like pro level tinkering there, or high amateur at least, but maybe nowadays there's some piece of a/v equipment that makes it easy to do.

The Christmas/Thanksgiving holidays are a good time to take extra time off, Pops, business tends to get slower anyway around then, or at least more people take time off then so absences arent unusual.

Did superx really hand water an ebb and flow table? What is that like 3-4x a day? No pump on a timer? Theres more to this story i think, he seems like a handy guy who does his research, only a savage would do something like that.

Scratch made pies are the best, Buzz. I used to try to make those myself during the holiday season, had a few successes but mostly misses. Maybe ill try again sometime. Ya'll ever make a pound cake with lemon frosting? Had one made by a retired lady decades ago, still think about it sometimes.

Haha Wallace is rocking the antlers. How old was he when this picture was taken? He looked happy and healthy.
