We live in a rural setting with limited shopping opportunities and sometimes you just shop where you can save money. Walmart is not high on my list for shopping but if I can save money on some items, that's where we go. Most of my shopping is done with cdn retailers, it's better when that money stays in the province and profits allow the business to grow when necessary.
We all need to live and we all need to make a living.

I believe Walmart sells fakes and re-labels their brand name stuff. I bought mobil oil there once and my truck had a lifter tick , I swapped it with the same mobile from a local gm dealer and it went away. Fortunately I live where there are options, Since sears went away ,I buy my appliances and furniture from a mom and pop store,they deliver it,set it up and honor the warranty. I miss those times when a handshake meant something.

Free trade could have been fine if countries dealt with other countries known for their craftsmanship and outstanding products but where I live we get 95% Chinese garbage,but then again people are cheap and ruined it for themselves,personally I'd rather spend more and experience better quality than save a few bucks and and have to replace it all the time. They bitch about pollution then market products that go in the dump quickly, some break before you leave the store.

There was a time when businesses and craftsman took pride in their work, the company and the employees worked hand in hand to produce a quality item and everyone benefited from this model.
Oh, I know, you go into a store and person wants some customer service and feel like they have value to the business and your not just a wallet walking into their business.

This will be a beautiful next 4 years I believe. I think we will see more American made stuff here in the USA and using quality materials. Seems like just knowing who is in control made the rest of the world started acting right. Hamas is leaving Isreal alone, China is agreeing to work with us again, and it seems putin wants to work out the Ukraine deal. Even the stock market took back off. Having a business man run the country like a business should be the answer to all these concerns and more. Maybe even a declassified Epstein list in our future. And anyone brave enough to watch the Diddy tapes, a friend of mine's relative works in the secret service said a lot of police and government workers were very sick and some had to take pto from work after viewing the evidence. I'm excited to see how everyone makes out when the hammer comes down

I'm optimistic that things will get better. I was worried what the state of our economy would have been like with another 4 years of status quo. Hopefully the republicans win the house and things will have a better chance of improving. If they don't, I'm sure the Democrats will block any efforts to improve our current state of affairs.

I have confidence we have things under control this time. Definitely sleeping better knowing we avoided a train wreck.. now all we need to do is clean house, put term limits on political positions, and keep a clear mandate on hand do good or get out. No more lobbying to gain control, full transparency. Public servants shouldn't be getting millionaire status while hard working Americans are broke.
