Some black spot fungus is very persistent. Are you able to send off samples? To rule somethin out at least.

Have you got any pictures so we can take a look? Personally a PH of 6.5 would not happen in any grow of mine, I never go past 6.2. Are the brown spots just irritating or are you not getting any yield/flower from your grows?

I would suggest going coco an canna nutes, it is simplicity in itself as long as you get your schedule right. It might be something else as you say, but nobody can tell you for definite without some imagery.

What area are you in N,S,E,W?

I'm east of England, I will take some pics in a few hours.
No the plants grow fine, I do pretty average when it comes to yield. About 2oz each plant without training.
The end product is pretty decent as well.

Whenever I show people the plants they struggle to see what I'm stressing about lol.
But I see them little spots and I know they're there and it puts me in a bad mood.
I can't stress enough all the stuff I've tried.
Hold on I'm gonna look through my gallery to see what pictures I've got of past grows. Every grow I've posted to this site has had these spots.

I get myself all worked up if a pot is slightly out of line

If this only occurs late in the development then I would have a stab at it being nothing more than "senescence"

:tiphat:

Here's some pictures, the sativa at back is iced grapefruit. It came in a small pot but was a tall plant. I out them in 11ltr pots and vegged for little over 2 weeks. I supercropped the main stem at a 45 degree angle and she still got that tall.
She don't have the spots but she does like she's a little N tox but at same time N deficient as well if that's possible.
Either way I've just flushed and added half strength bloom.
The other 2 plants are the ones with the spots.

I've definitely seen worse fella, just need to open the door on my room :)
You might just need a bit of a change, get the love back.

I'm gonna wade in and suggest changing the water as well. (I'm using sunshine mix 4 , general hydro flora micro/bloom/koolbloom following the lucas formula)
I have well water and even tho it's loaded with cal/mag and other stuff that plants like.... whatever the ratios are or whatever else is present in that water, messes up my plants.
necrotic spots, patches of missing pigment that I thought was perhaps thrips but came to realize it was not.
I switched to RO water and following Chimera's suggestion in another thread , bumped my PH to 6.8 and after about a week noticed big changes, more vigor and normal growth.
however, magnesium deficiency remained, so experimented by mixing up my nutes with 4/5 of a gallon of RO and topping up at the end with my well water. Not only did it help balance my PH at 6.8 , all signs of those deficiencies or lock outs went away.
I've been maintaining that ratio of RO to well water over the past couple months or so and have been generally pleased with my flower and veg room plant health.

What is the finished bud like? Apart from that issue, they look good! It looks like a toxicity to me as though the plant is depositing an excess element between thee veins.

I have the bedroom door open during light on but it's shut for dark.
I know it's not major but I've gone from perfectly healthy plants to this shit.
I know it's my water but I can't see what they've changed since I've been getting this.
I know I can grow but this just makes me doubt myself.

Your not the first person to suggest mixing my water with RO to cut it.
Think I'm gonna gonna go coco and use the water someone suggested earlier in the thread.
Mineral water is probably easier and less suspect to buy anywhere.

I'm always complemented on my finnished bud. Me personally I rate my bud higher grade than 80% of the stuff on the streets.

...and you're seriously considering surrender as your best option?

peace, bozo

Yeah but I'm not sure 4 months of stressing about my plants looking like that is worth it.
I mean things really play on my mind, I had a brain injury few years back and I've not been quite right since lol.
These spots really stress me out.

i know its easy to say, but from my pov you are totally over complicating things here, apart from the spots you are doing a great job. change the water, go coco, try bio tabs, 1 tab per pot, all you add is water, no ph no worrys no nothing.. easiest ever! get ro filter and you will have the best results

hey bro you should really get a counter top RO there like a 100 bucks and will def solve your problems, i tried my well water in new house thinking i could get by without the ro again but no bueno plants just did not respond well to whatever is in it even tho its mostly cal

get your water tested , use RO water from walmarts or you local grocery till you do . it looks like a Mag def to me , so i might be your water , PH fluctuation , or your nutes not giving you enough mag . i'm thinking the last one . what nutes are you using ? epsom salts are a good Mag additive , you only need a little . a tsp per 5 gallons is good enough to see if it helps . or a foliar spray of epsom & RO water everyday for a week .
either way , its not bad enough to give up on . oh ..... & i'd find & fix your problems before switching to coco !! if your having PH problems or bad water , switching to coco will only make it worse .
