DF is right on the stretch. It is about half way between of and sour diesel. Not so much it is hard to keep up with but still requires a fair amount of work to maintain.

It also is a steady growth style. Just keeps adding bulk. Not one of those strains you keep asking are you going to fill in or not.

And the yield is stellar. Definately a good yielder.

The smell if dried right is real strong. You can not walk around with it in a bag. I gave it to my sister and she put a nug in a cigarette wrapper. The smell went across the entire house and her daughter smelt it. In other words she smelt it about 28 feet away in a cigerette wrapper in her pocket. It is one of the strongest strains I have for smell. My sister was so embarist because her daughter had her ex dropping off the kids.

But the smell does change with a cure. Still skunky but a little different and I am not a great one to ask about different types of smells. I have a terrible science of smell. Can't catch the differences but can tell they are there.

Hope that helps.

Holy fuck! A civil disagreement on the internet. Should I be worried? Is something wrong? Where's my tinfoil hat?

 I was thinking the same thing.......... Gotta say though, for all the hype behind the death star, I have yet to be impressed. About 3 weeks in with the clone only, and though it looks good and all, I'm not seeing anything yet that screams this is something truly special :dunno: Maybe she's a late bloomer, but as it stands right now my chemmy jones, BSC, and hell even the GG4 are all looking much better in every area I consider important (bud size, structure, resin production, smells, etc).

ECSD, GG4, SSSDH, Casey Jones are all good candidates. I'm sure you have those and/or a bunch of strains that share a similar growth profile. :tiphat:

All good choices. Like to add SLH and Critical Jack or Jack Herer to that list. Tall plants love the wall with stacked verticals. Got 2 GPW, but that's with 2 month veg. Might have been even more with SLH, like 9 or 10 weeks. Lost track due to dealing with BMs in veg. That's why I vegged so long. Wasn't planned that way....

She is a late bloomer, take her to 70, the last 2 weeks are critical, here she is at 57, needing 2 more weeks yet.

My take on stretch for the death star is she goes laterally like a mofo, So my trick for veging her for vert screen double stacks were u want at least 4 or 5' of height is to keep her close with other plants horizontally and get a pole like structure till u get to about 3' then when u put her in vert light she will stretch laterally to fill the screen, while not stretching vertical too much.

The room is chuggin right along. These pics are the middle of week 2. GG4 is already getting close to the top and there are still 10-15 days of stretch left. Niice!
I've been spreading em out, tryna keep things even. Lots of pruning happening in there too. The overlap isn't a problem like it was last run.

Just checked that strain out, nice score! The beans look kind of landrace-y though? Or maybe that's just me :p

Lookin good! Looks like ur gonna have a nice canopy marlo.

I'm hoping. The Wifi side is gonna be some work.

It's definitely not easy. But I've been going in there every cpl days working on the canopy. Working it til the end of stretch, then it gets easier. Until all the buds start floppin towards the middle of the room.

Yessir. They are both in the up position in the pics. There's a pic of them going up and down somewhere near the beginning of this thread.

I have the same problem as you with my first glue. Six inches above the rack at day 15 of flower.

That must be a big plant.. Your racks are huge!

I hope thats a good thing.

Yeah, DF is the man. Gonna be poppin a few of those soon myself

Good luck with yours Joe

I guess I'm gonna have to pop these Karmas too.. to the man!!!

Marlo I might have to challenge you to a OG wall off

I'm planning a nice long veg.. so you have some time to catch up.
Good Luck with yours
