That SUX b00mer !!!

Marlo were those F2's as old as the galadriel x SB seeds i just popped ? cuz they were vigorous little buggers !!! 3 days & they shed their shells & was pushing the paper towel up lol

The F2's were made in late '08 or early '09. Probably a year or more before the Galadriel cross. I really wanted to see wsup with those F2's

Looks can be deceiving. .. ur microgrow looks killa.... talkin bout makin the most outta the space ya got... i just put up the same nettin on my walls not gonna waste the excess space no more.. i may gain a ft of space having extra plants against the wall instead of in my way.... walls of weed. Great idea if u got a bare wall in ur grow room...

Thanks bruh. I went big on the veg this time. Not looking for any open spaces on my wall. But still stay on top of it enough to not let it get out of hand. Putting the plants on the wall added a good 8" to my room. Thats alot when you have less than 3' to work with. Walls FTW!!!!

initially i thought that i would need over 30" but now that i thought about it a little more i realized that maybe 20-24" would be ideal.

i have 4ft trellis, same as you if i recall.

Thank you and happy growing

No problem senile.
One thing you should remember about using a light mover for vert...The light distance rules are very different. When running one horizontally, the bulbs move from one side to the other together, so one side of your canopy will be without direct light over it until the light moves back. So many growers try to keep the distance short, to avoid dark spots at the ends.
Vert light movers move the bulbs in opposite directions. So when one is goin up, the other is coming down. In the center of my canopy the plants are constantly getting blasted from 2 directions. Never a dark spot. As far as the plants on the edges, the light moves away from them in an up and down direction..which means, even tho the light is getting further away, it is still direct uninterrupted light. Just a foot or more further away for 15-20 seconds.
Keep all this in mind when setting up your vert light mover. Sit in there for a while and just watch it move...you'll figure out the sweet spot quick. Anyone else running a light mover vertically on IC? I only saw it on that one illustration, and someone doing it with one bulb.

What type of strains are best to put on a wall... stretchy sativas.... is what i was leanin towards... plus i dont want them on a tray... they will def be a pita harvest time when everything is done in 70s n they got a month to go... having them tied to the wall out the way i could leave them there 2runs ;)...

50/50's are the way to go for sure. U can do more sativa just gotta plan for it with the stretch, if u do a heavy indica u have to over veg the hell out of it.

Hands down the best plant I have ever come across to put up on a wall is GG4. If you have anything with a similar growth profile, it should be more than fine.
I look for plants that are naturally lanky. A good stretch is always appreciated. I also try and stay away from strains with big thick stems and little branching...ie, sour bubble. They are a pain in the ass to train.

ECSD, GG4, SSSDH, Casey Jones are all good candidates. I'm sure you have those and/or a bunch of strains that share a similar growth profile.

Ill add one to the good strains list for ya. Death star is a lateral branch stretcher for me, that needs to be tied to screens to hold up the ridiculous weight it can put up. \

Shes a top 5% in about every category. Just a little week on branching that can hold the colas.

I hear of a indica leaning pheno of it, ive never seen it personally but im guessing its somebodys knock off attempt on it cause I think the true one is clone only.

Whatever u do stoney, dont put seed plants on the wall. Not enjoyable..especially if these plants have to pay the bills. Vert scrog is best left for plants that you know very well. That way you can have veg, stretch, and training all planned out and get a nice full wall with no empty spaces

In fact id say I pretty much messed it up by cutting my yield by 30 to 50% and it still will break gpw for sure.

Cool story. I'm gonna assume you are embellishing this more than a lil bit.

I tend to exaggerate a little but no im serious.

I don't usually entertain these types of convos but......

You are asking me to believe that had you not "messed up" your yield would have been up to 50% higher. Yet and still you are going to "greak a gpw for sure".
Lets continue.... 1/2 of your yield is still 1gpw. so in other words you were on track to smash 2GPW (had you not "messed up").

Thats impressive. So running your stacked bulbs ( I'm assuming you had 2) that be 4000 grams or 142.8 oz's or just shy of 9 lbs. using (2)1k's. Or 2400 grams/ 85.7 oz's / 5.3 lbs if your using (2)6oo's.

So again, I'm going to assume you are exaggerating more than a little bit.

And for the record, with all due respect, I don't believe any of the pics in any of your albums showcase a 1GPW grow. Let alone 2 gpw. But... I could be wrong, and have been in the past.

Deathstar is some good smoke...and a great yielding plant. However, she really didn't stretch that much for me as much as she grew side ways. But, I don't think I really had her in her sweet spot. That's one I'd like back some day...in all honesty. Like to play with her more and see if I couldn't get her to perform better - but it's one of the few plants I've come across in recent years that TRULY had a roadkill type smell mixed in. Really surprised me as it wasn't what I was expecting from her - but everyone that got her raved on her.

Im totally ok with all ur opinions sir. I have nothing to prove or sell or anything. im proud of what ive been able to accomplish and happy to share. the funny thing is all I did was copy off guys here. Actually there are a few threads where they do the same thing, but they don't llike the attention, so I will pm u if u want there threads and explain further. But again I aint trying to prove anything or sell some product or business.

To straighten up a couple of those thoughts let me be more clear. Im talking 2 600's stacked. I don't feel comfortable putting up whole room pics cause of some friends that might be lurking here but wouldn't be so pleased im posting here. I will try and get a whole screen shot for u so u can better see what I mean.

Please understand when I said 30 to 50% then in the next post I said that I exaggerated, what I meant was 30% is realistic, all I pretty much did was copy guys here. I just signed up on this forum a couple months ago and had never taken a pic in my life.

.

Even if u don't believe me if u talk to me with respect as u have I don't mind at all. thank u for representing ur opinion in a respectful manner.

Thank you for affording me the same respect sir. I love being able to disagree like adults. Pardon any sarcasm or attitude. I was sober earlier. I feel much better now.

Gees stoney sounds like a jungle, how do get around in a foot of space. If u have that death star on ur wall and rub against it be prepared to wash ur clothes 2 or 3 times before the skunk aroma fades. But I know what u mean about filling all the extra space with buds instead of walk ways lol. Im gonna start putting plants on the ground to get a little flat canopy under my vert scrogs.

Holy fuck! A civil disagreement on the internet. Should I be worried? Is something wrong? Where's my tinfoil hat?
