There are companies out there that will source and blend all the inputs for you as well as provide a guaranteed analysis of the blended inputs.

also, my real ? has always been, what about trees? is there anyone doing 1+ per plant doing this indoors?

People used to think if you did small plants it would work, sure...but what about big plants? My answer was the same as it was then - bigger plants (larger containers) actually makes it that much easier to get a perfect run.

Kickstarter told me it didn't fit into their general platform...made me sad.

Yeah, that's a good point and something I had looked into a couple years back - but I couldn't find one that actually had (or was willing) to stock the wide array of things I needed. It would be the perfect approach to use if I was just making a very basic mix - but it is rather specialized...

Marlo said he pulled an ounce under 2, so .73 gpw - and that he had more fluff in the lowers than he would have personally liked, due to over crowding in the first place. Said he should have done two plants on each side...

Think Marlo is taking a break during the summer heat... :tiphat:

I think for sure he can pull better numbers and I'm looking forward to him giving it another go!!! :respect:

All this Glue has me in a fog...

So yea, for the most part, it was a very successful grow, especially for a first run. I learned a whole lot this grow. Like DF said, I fell short of my goal of 2lbs, but I see alot of promise moving forward.
1 big mistake I made, was using the mother plant that produced the other clones. She was the largest going in, and had the lowest yield of all the plants. Some of the plants also suffered bcus I couldnt get to them as often as needed.... And the over crowding was an issue. I'm sure she would have responded better with less plants.

Anyways, enough of the bad news..... One thing I can tell you for sure is, Gorilla Glue #4 is the real deal. Top shelf in every sense of the word. Amazing frost. Stinks like a 4$ whore. And potency that will grab any smokers attention.

Quick story.... A cpl days after harvest, I was driving with a friend. He's a complete stoner. Smokes about 4 grams a day... So we're going down the highway puffin on a fatty of GG4 (Raw cone stuffed to the top). Halfway thru the joint, we reach our exit, and I suggest putting it out bcus I don't like puffin in the city. So my boy is like "Hell yeah, that shit got me on Pluto!" lol. Everytime we smoke together now, he asks, "is that that shit again?" Its definitely getting peoples attention up here.

So she will definitely be run again. Absolutely.
2 things for me tho. She is not a daytime smoke by any means. Strong as shit, and makes me drowsy as hell. Not a serious head rush like some strains. Nice even body buzz imo. But nap inducing like a muh fucka.
And the high doesn't last as long as some strains. Which isn't a problem, cuz I'm always down to light up again. But it is something I noticed.

So I'm still around. Lurking all over IC, and plotting on my next grow. I'm about to start getting the soil ready in another week or so. Thinking about using half or 1/3 recycled soil. Gonna go with 4 beds instead of these 2 monsters. It will give me some much needed wiggle room. I'm guessing they'll be 15 to 17 gallons each. The smaller pots will also leave me some space for some 1.5 gallons to go thru these Relentless WiFi beans.

I didn't take any harvest pics, but I have piles of bud to take some dry shots of.

WiFi is a fem hybrid bro, you would be hard pressed to find a male unless you popped like 10000+ seeds maybe you'd find one of those Chem91 esque "males".. Spot on with your description of the glue though, strong, but short lived. If the high lasted a bit longer I would stop looking for better plants because she doesn't leave much wanting.

Hi Marlo,
great thread man. I´m reading from the beginning but is a long run. Learning a lot here.
I´m reading a lot of stuff with vertical sets and planning on going vert soon. In the plans there´s some real haze strains, so i think my height will become a problem.
Well, the thing that really concern me to going vert here is the temp issue.. I live in a tropical country, now we are in the winter and i´m running 400w Mh with a cooltube around 24 degrees (21~26). In the summer the temps go next to 40 degrees (Celsius) in some days (30~38 normally) sure i´m not using AC, but a decent extraction fan.
My grow space is close to yours, a bit larger but shorter. Do you think is possible to try a vert (if necessary i can adapt the cooltube) with no problems at all, or the temps are higher than normal?
sorry talking too much, best vibes!

The WiFi I'm referring to is Relentless's version. Which he made by using a Fire OG bx male to knock up The White. Standard M/F seeds. I know its not OGR's version, but Relentless's test grows show that they are an excellent representation of the gene pool. Should be fun..

As far as the glue goes, there isn't much bad to say about it. I'm hoping she improves in all areas as I dial her in more.

I'm pretty sure Relentless made the Elmers Glue with GG4 and The White reversed. Quite a few strains of this past release came from The White reversed and his Fire OG bx male.

Hey pedrero

I have some serious temp issues as well. I do not grow in the summer months because of it.
If you are going to be growing hazes, vert will be more forgiving with the headroom for sure. And temps should be fine if it works for you now. Especially if you are planning on keeping the cooltube.
Take some pics and start a thread in the vert forum. Lots of guys here will give you plenty of advice
