"Family values" and "morality" are just code words in the USA for christian. Never mind that most American "christians" would disgust Christ.
Regardless of his personal lack of morals, Trump is anti-muslim, anti-gay, anti-immigrant, just like the bible-thumpers. In the USA, these are "family values".

Thats a pretty accurate description of trump’s actions towards America, except you’d also have to knock off the family’s grandparents since trump is ignoring the threat of covid.

when I was about 13 we lived in Greece, where a 15 year old can buy potassium perchlorate over the counter.
that was my year for the "crappy bedroom". so i got a closet for a bedroom.
next to my older brothers' fireworks lab. he was supervised by my chemist father.

I just heard the guy that has predicted the election for many years he even had tRump last year and he says that tRump is a loser this year, barring all the voter suppression that he is trying to do, I think that is the only way he can win is by declaring the election invalid...
President* caddyshack can declare anything he wants, but the election will be decided one way or another on January 3rd, and the inauguration will occur on January 20th. Anything different will require an act of congress.

I remember when the NRA cared about gun safety, training and education. Now they only care about electing ultra rightwing nuttards, and ensuring that every mentally incompetent senile dementia laden Alzheimers patient and kindergartner has easy access to AR15s and other assault weapons.

i remember those days too. they had Eddie Eagle telling kids to not touch guns if they found them, etc. they were THE bulwark against govt overreach in the day. after i figured out what they were really about (after Heston was the president) i quit as a member & scratched the stickers off of my windows. but RE alzheimers patients & kids having access to AR-15s, i call bullshit. if you have to lie to try to make a point, you have already lost the argument.

Was an NRA member for a long time; American Rifleman was my favorite read as a kid (along with ‘Boys’ Life’ and ‘Scientific American’).
Took me a long time to realize that the US gun industry had turned it into a political vehicle run by industry salesmen: over time, they turned every moment of public concern over the *existing* impact of firearms on the citizenry into a “clear and present danger to the freedoms of “law-abiding” gun owners“ - and began stoking fears of confiscation among gun owners *deliberately* - and *politically*.
News today that NY investigators are calling for the dissolution of the NRA as a corrupt organization.

He already slipped by once. I think they are going to hold off until all the weasel outs have expired after the election and maybe after the handover.

I was going for artistic exaggeration, not lying, but your point is well taken.
The majority of this country supports the second amendment and also wants reasonable and logical gun control that ensures that crazy people and children do not have easy access to guns.
In my opinion, the NRA has been trying to keep our elected officials from even debating these issues.
