Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Thursday that he hasn’t been to the White House in more than two months because of the lax use of face masks and social distancing there amid the coronavirus pandemic.

McConnell, a 78-year-old polio survivor, contrasted the precautions he has taken personally in the Senate to the White House, where President Trump, first lady Melania Trump and at least 21 aides, Trump associates, military leaders and reporters have contracted the potentially fatal disease.

“Well, look. Trump is about overdue to ask again why is the US military and a bunch of equipment there, in support of NATO? He ran on the USA getting out of NATO.

Trump said that to feed the uneducated who don't understand why NATO exists. If he meant it, then it's a pretty good guess he never graduated college with an economics degree under his own steam.

Without NATO, the world sinks. If the world sinks, the global economy regresses back to the 1930s. And that's bad for US Money Bags.

There's a reason the US has so much invested in NATO. And that reason is self serving, not because they're "nice guys". That's just a PR unintended consequence.

The agency is a republican institution. Always has been. In a nutshell, it was the sons of rich men who were the source of intel, because they were ones who traveled internationally.
Republicans have controlled that agency from it's inception.
To try to sell the concept that democrats ever had that level of control claimed is just plain laughable.

people associated with the agency and take a look at their political affiliation.

Woman Quits Job After Being Forced to Spend Week with Trump

LONDON (The Borowitz Report)—A British woman quit her job, on Friday, after being forced to spend the better part of a week with Donald J. Trump, the woman has confirmed.
Speaking to reporters at her office in London, the woman said that, although she had spent years trying to get the job, having to endure several days in the company of Trump convinced her that “life is too short.”
“When I started this job, I knew that a certain amount of my responsibilities would involve dealing with members of the public,” she said. “But had I known that I also would have to spend hours listening to Donald Trump talk, I certainly would have applied for a different position.”


Compounding the woman’s nightmare, she was required to spend time not only with Trump but with his adult children as well. “Having to talk to that Eric person reduced me to tears,” she said.
The woman said that she has been amazed to learn that more than ten people have come forward to say that they would like to be her replacement. “Whoever gets my job should be warned: at some point, you may have to spend a week with Donald Trump,” she said. “Are you really up for that?”
