It's almost like people forgot about all the polling and election that took place in 2018 which was very accurate.

I think more dislike Trump now.
not to mention those who fear him
as in this guy is a threat to the republic
and there are plenty of republicans and independents who see it this way
the numbers aren't close, and only appear to be going in a more negative Trump direction
thinking there's a pool for the secret service agents who will get to escort him out of the building
unless he slinks out on his own spewing cries of plots against his life

NATO spending per year is 2.5 billion.

The US military budget is 700 billion a year.

Thinking pulling NATO funding will be a boost to the us budget is fucking laughable.

Trump is such a good con for his Trumpkins.

Every little bit helps. If we can knock out another 300 of those then it will all add up. What we do with our tax dollars is our business, other countries don't have the right to take advantage.

That small amount of money is like greasing the palm of a bartender to get faster service. It's money well spent. It's the cost of one bomber. You're looking for pennies to buy a yacht.

Do you really trust China to tell the truth when they have a history of covering up everything?
then why do you fear China?
obviously you do, not for all bad reasons
they're only incompetent when you say so?
people and journalists are traveling there, there's credibility to an improving situation
when you don't believe because you don't want to? withdrawal from the tough world is what some do to cope
good luck with that

I don't fear China but I am angry with China and those who alienate them (not you, I'm talking about certain politicians, the media, even the W.H.O) I'm betting they wouldn't let a journalist in unless they had pro China views or agree to certain terms in their favor. Just my opinion but I don't think I am wrong on that.

that's a reasonable position
China is playing it's own game
but lets get conservative, go fundamental economics
and the invisible hand guides, China will be a net plus even with some bad intentions
the system self regulates, too nasty a player makes too many enemies
all this tempered with common sense of course

The swamp draining continues

"Elliot Broidy, the former deputy finance chairman of the RNC, has been charged for foreign lobbying in trying to get the Trump administration to drop an investigation into the massive Malaysian embezzlement scheme 1MDB."

Really? I thought brits were exiting the EU because they didn't want unelected rulers in Brussels telling them what they can and can't do.

(Just what we hear in the colonies.)

That was the swindle that a small majority of the English and Welsh voting public fell for. (Scotland and N. Ireland voted convincingly against but are beig dragged out too)
In reality, most of the EU rules protected workers' rights, the environment and ensured fair trade between the sovereign countries of the world's biggest trading bloc.

THIS sums it up admirably.
Brexit happened because lots of big uk corporations and Tory donors wanted to do away with pesky human rights and worker’s rights bills, so they made a slick campaign convincing the public that they would give £350 million a week to the nhs (lies, of course)
And that all the countries problems were caused by immigrants ( probably the same immigrants underpaid to work in the nhs)
Boris must have nearly relapsed when he realised the same migrant workers who saved his life were the ones he’d been trying to cut benefits for.
