Some of the more honest scientists stuck to their guns. I can't remember their names but one is a Harvard professor, I saw interviewed. The studies showing more harm than good from HCQ are seriously flawed AFAICS. HCQ has been on the list of commonly used drugs for treating Corona viruses for a number of years. The crusade against it was highly politicized.

Unfortunately, despite what my friend Xavier says, many scientist are bought these days. Just look at the ones who deny the ice core evidence of human caused climate change and the shameful few who made the autism>vaccine issue about mercury when that is not the point at all.

Gonna faux argue....those that are bought and paid are that small percentage that go against the consensus. Tbh, i would point at the dogshit science that denies those things you mention as the exact reason why going with a consensus is the best option and weeds out the paid shills.

I am thinking of stuff like the few daring souls that put out there that the sun was center of the universe despite the majority disagreeing...as an example.
