Hello all,

Whom will be the first to shiv the mad king?

minds_I

I wish it was that simple. The way this is suppose to work is that the Country comes first and the party second. Should someone like tRump come along in a normal world the party would reign him back in. That's what happened at Watergate, it was his fellow Republicans that did the deed to Nixon. Back in the "80's Reagan and Dem House Speaker Tip O'neill would meet on the side, and put aside party for the good of the nation. After all way back when it used to be country first.

Now it's different. In tRump's Republican Party it's tRump first, his family second, whatever catches his attention third whoever has the goods on him fourth, and party is eight or ninth. I kept looking but I didn't find country anywhere on the list of tRump's priorities, but hey, I stopped after an hour. I had to eat. The Republicans first priority is power. Their second is power, and the third, and fourth.... more power , but you get the picture. Again, country is nowhere on the list.

I used to think when the Repubs got tired of the nonsense they would shiv him and be done with it. If it was only that easy. tRump is the tRump, and the Republican Party is tRump. They couldn't kill him even if they wanted to. Honestly what could they do that hasn't already been done? He indirectly and through sheer I don't give a fuck had killed two hundred thousand of his fellow citizens, and as you can see, they don't care. His taxes are out, and all he payed was $750 a year. They blame the NY Times. They've been running a grift election campaign for four years that raised 1.1 billion yet is currently almost broke, no problem, they'll give tRump their kids allowance. These people have forgotten that the country comes first. In their eyes tRump and their tribe come first. Nothing else matters. If Biden loses the election he will concede and wish tRump well because that's the rules we play by. Will tRump do the same?

The only way to shiv tRump is at the ballot box. A humiliating defeat followed by lot's of sunlight will show his supporters that the direction he wanted to take them leads to a dead end. As you can see these people are brainwashed. tRump first, country second. Only after tRump is in jail or exile and everything he did has been ripped out by the roots will we be able to begin moving forward together as a one nation.

“The amazing thing is that half of the country is paying nothing. Zero. And even if you don’t make a lot, you should have to pay something. Just something to be a part of the game. Half of the country’s paying nothing.”

Do you agree with Trump?

I truly love the law of unintended consequences
let's say that ACA is overturned by the new SC
now as even the hard core Trumpers can see, Trump is on his way out
and the Senate is going with him, hope he was worth it
what's going to happen in congress, the public healthcare option will be redone
bigger and better than ACA, no real doubt about it
so I'm fine with the new SC pick, she'll lead the way to better health care
not that it's her intention

Yes. It's only a matter of time.

The Dems have only lost the popular vote for president twice in the last 24 years. Soon the dam will break and the popular vote and electoral collage won't be at odds when electing a president. Time is not on the side of the GOP. Less then 10 years and Texas will be a reliable blue state.

What would be the reason for Texas going blue ?
