A bad year in Chicago beats them all combined. According to polling even the majority of Republicans support police reform in African American communities, yes were sure headed towards Hitler Germany.

DNC willing to agree to the GOP plan that doesnt agree to extend UI by an extra $600 weekly.

Dems are straight up toast post-2020 if the party is not willing to reform. Their leadership is straight up feckless.
Reform the party into an actual left party (because that's what the majority of the country is, even if they don't realize or understand it) and kick the corporatist neoliberals to the curb.

I agree, We need representation that really works to better our lives. Stop making it easier for the wealthy to make such easy high profits fucking the people that use there products/Services. Running on "i'm not Trump" without any significant or popular policy decisions that will impact the average working class American is only going to yield someone from the GOP stepping up in 4-8 years who is Trump on steroids.
This is another reason why I believed Bernie was and still is our best choice as well as the ultimate compromise candidate despite all the lies against him about how he was going to end capitalism lol. He's giving people across all political affiliation something to vote FOR. People voting for Biden are simply voting against Trump, I can't imagine anything outside of a small contingency of people actually voting for Joe because they love him as a candidate.
After Biden does his 4 (if he even makes it)... What then? He's obviously not going to choose a lefty or a progressive as his VP... Which means we'll have an incumbent establishment centrist movement taking center stage in 2024, so the populist left will once again be fighting from a disadvantaged & outsider (outside the establishment) position. The left will always be seen as taking votes away from the annointed establishment pick, because it's not like the GOP is going to go back to running somewhat normal people any more after Trump. All future presidential elections are going to be viewed as some existential danger and our civic duty to vote for the milquetoast Biden or Buttegig type against the crazed fascists the right will be throwing up. They're all going to be Tom Cotton and Matt Gaetz type Republicans, and those people are nuts.
We need more political parties and/or to end the two party stranglehold on our political system.
