Ted Nugent threatened to kill Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton during an onstage rant. Effigies of Obama were burned at a bar in Milwaukee; as well as hung from a tree at the University of Kentucky; a building in Plains, Ga.; and a noose in the front yard of a home in Moreno Valley, Calif.
In explaining the catalyst for his Obama effigy, one man from Fairfield, Ohio, said that he didn’t want “an African American running the country.”
Americans have a long history of citizens committing violence against president effigies to voice political dissent.
James Madison, John Tyler, Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Jimmy Carter were all burned in effigy during their presidencies. And each time this happened, the offending party leaders repudiated the distasteful and disrespectful actions of their constituents..."

McCain was a piece off shit too, Trumps problem with him was that he couldn't advance the imperialistic agenda the way McCain could. There's talk of Trump being supported by 'bad russians' but there's proof of McCain making deals with fucking Taliban operatives and Ukrainian neo-nazis. Just cause the guy saw Trump for what he is doesn't make him a good man, it simply gives the man a spine (which is more than I can say for Republicans currently). I bet both Bin Laden and Hitler would see through Trumps charade too, I mean they certainly both accomplished a lot more than Trump ever will, but opposing him wouldn't absolve them of their atrocities.

I am familiar with this story. It was run by KSAT12, a Sinclair station. The story also mis-characterized antifa as an “anti-government group”. The story also fails to provide any proof that those arrested are/were part of antifa. There is nothing anarchist about antifa. Antifa is against fascism/fascists, not against government. That’s not to say that there aren’t people who believe in both, as your next link indicates:

Just like a person can be a trump supporter and also be racist, an anarchist can also be anti-fascist. They are separable characteristics. It is unfair to categorize them together.
Antifa is about standing up against fascism. I haven’t seen any evidence that they are against our government.
Antifa is not just about fascism, but also against racism, authoritarianism, capitalism gone wrong, and ultra right ideology. People should think of WWII and what we were fighting. It's back, but this time it preys on the ignorant and those easily manipulated.
