i used to walk through industrial neighborhoods all the time, on the edge of "the hood".

i remember walking through West Oakland one time.

A bunch of black guys in their shiney car, called out, "hey White Boy".

wasn't hostile at all.

I agree, lots of the old guard need to go. Time to let young real lefties be democreeps. They might put forth real change that helps people and tax the rich and corps properly.
