people are leaving the cities...one of my custies is a real estate appraiser and the same thing is happening here since this state is doing fairly well compared to the surrounding states with covid...probably missing out on the fact that only like 1 1/2 million people live here...but it's cheap to live here...at least until a bunch of damn east and west coaster blow up the real estate prices!!

If the Electoral College did not exist, the USA would not exist as is. It was understood that - to use modern examples - New York and California would have a greater power in elections than many other states put together. In a popular vote democracy, that would be how it works. If that model had been the only model available, some states would not have joined the Union. If the Electoral College were discontinued - requiring a constitutional amendment the size of Alaska - some states would probably leave the Union.

What does your antisemitic fairy god mother tell you about the acceptance committees in medical schools, law schools and business schools? What about the Nobel prize committee? Are they part of your conspiracy theory too?
Or maybe, people who value family, hard work and education tend to do better than people who don’t. Some of them might just rise to the pinnacle of their respective fields. That’s just my working theory.
Another working theory is that some people who don’t value family, hard work and education and don’t do well with the life they have and might be bitter and seek an alternate reality filled with moronic conspiracy theories that target people that are successful.

Good luck controlling 325 million people like me. And good luck to New York because you will need it. Indiana is deep red but we will certainly accept rich New Yorkers to feed our booming economy.
