the Electoral college is good.. but the winner take all with the seats in each state is what sucks and takes the majority out of the election ...split the seats(riding ?) to each party and give the people back their voice
I genuinely miss the likes of Mr D. He was a well educated man, and a solid republican that I was able to spend considerable time with in PM discussing things of a legitimate political nature on a regular basis.
Was fortunate to have spent years in DC, under several administrations and I enjoyed it.
I look for another solid republican who seeks conversation about things of a political nature without a need for endless childish exchanges.

I am inclined to agree with you, however people of that caliber do indeed still
exist. We are blessed to have had some here, I await more.

SAN DIEGO — Smuggling gangs in Mexico have repeatedly sawed through new sections of President Trump’s border wall in recent months by using commercially available power tools, opening gaps large enough for people and drug loads to pass through, according to U.S. agents and officials with knowledge of the damage.
The breaches have been made using a popular cordless household tool known as a reciprocating saw that retails at hardware stores for as little as $100. When fitted with specialized blades, the saws can slice through one of the barrier’s steel-and-concrete bollards in minutes, according to the agents, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the barrier-defeating techniques.
After cutting through the base of a single bollard, smugglers can push the steel out of the way, creating an adult-size gap. Because the bollards are so tall — and are attached only to a panel at the top — their length makes them easier to push aside once they have been cut and are left dangling, according to engineers consulted by The Washington Post.

i am out of rep myself, or i would hit both of you up for clear thinking & knowledge of history...
You obviously don't know how elections work. Voting in any country including yours is a winner take all. As I said the USA is the only country Im aware of that doesn't use a normal electoral process to elect a president. .
The big problem with voting is covid. Mostly seniors work at the polls. Their health and the concern of voting becoming a super spreader event make the old school way obsolete. I don't see why you can't get your ballot on line and replace the voting booths with no contact drive through. Facial recognition and drivers license photos could simplify the process and make it bullet proof. One face, One ID, One vote.
