gantz, hello man, it couldn't have been my friend with whom i was yesterday because yesterday was the first time i have taken anyone up there; i suspect a certain park ranger. and yes, p.cubensis grows on them cow pastures
hello deft, where the plants are, no cows, at least none as of yet. hopefully the plants will grow and be harvested
in this pic you can see colombian bagseed x swazi red, lebanese, darkvader f2, and a supposed blueberry which i don't know in which pot it is planted as i didn't mark it and now forgot, duh! but i guess i'll be able to tell it apart later on as it develops unique phenotype:
here's a couple of pics of the lebanese:
colombian bagseed x swazi red recently topped:
crazy colombian bagseed:
i owe you the pics of the two china x bhangi, gonna wait till they grow a bit more, took a few pics but came out horrible. my cam really stinks.
regarding the plants my friend and i planted near the cow-pastures, there are no cows that can access there, seriously! if them cows eat the plants while in full flower, if i were to milk them, would the milk be considered bhang?
funny that about the bhang Those plants are looking nice and healthy, love the wild bagseed ones. Sorry to hear about the Malawi Any luck yet with the Paraguyanos? Pick us all a few P Cubensis on next visit to the cow field please
Paz- take some pics of the cubensis! I never seen a cubensis "landrace" from venezuala. I had some Mazatapecs from Mexico, but they weren't very good. Would be interesting to see what they look like there.
If you take a drier clump of cowshit that has the cubensis growing on it, you can use that to start a small patch in your backyard or something, haha. You just need to dig a hole and fill it with cowshit that's been dried and "leached" by the sun, and some straw/hay/dried grass if you got it. Wet it down a bit and then bury the chunk with the shrooms on it underneath the pile a little bit.
Then when shrooms don't pop up anymore, you just have to throw a little handful of dried cow shit on there for nutes, and you'll always have a little patch of cubes, haha
Outdoor shroom growing is the shit.
pipeline, muuuuuuu!!! nice cows chewing away the day
nomadic, hola y gracias i was out there this morning, still too dry for any mushroom to come up the cow poopoo hehehe... i'm waiting for the new moon to drop those paraguayan seeds in some black tea, i have a feeling the tea is the way!
ganico man hello, man, if i start eating p.cubensis again i'll probably end up naked in some unknown mountain valley and no one would ever hear from me again! but maybe just for their aesthetic value i may grow some inside the temple will have to wait for the rains and see what's up.
just stick the cow poo in your greenhouse in some shady spot, the cubensis will love the humidity. Do you know if they are like Columbian ones? I see you are scared of the shroom effect then, naked in a mountain Oh dear sounds like you've had some good experiences with them! Aesthetic value is nice but shrooms if you do them right have great value, suppose its a personal thing though. Great for making tea!
Hey I heard from someone over here who has been trying paraguyanos that he had a lot of problems with germination too, probably because they don't let the seeds ripen properly or look after them. AH I see another moon cycle grower, nice Amazes me still how much faster seeds germinate with a new moon, I never used to believe it, but seems to be true!
Paz- when you say "black tea", do you mean just regular tea for drinking? And if so, what's the theory on that? The tannin in the tea supposed to do something maybe?
I heard coconut milk is supposed to have some kind of natural growth hormone, and supposed to be good for getting seeds to germinate, for whatever that's worth.
the cubensis that grow here may just be exactly like the ones that grow in altitude in colombia, at least from pictures of the colombian cubensis i have seen. i have had my fair share of experiences with the mushrooms, they are strong teachers in my experience, so i really respect them, i wouldn't just go out and eat a few just because they are easy to find here, u know?
the paraguayan seeds i have are labelled 'paraguaya indica and paraguaya sativa' they were sent to me by a very friendly grower around the triple frontier, this was over a year ago in overgrow, ever since overgrow went down, i never heard from him again, most likely he is doing ok and perhaps even smoking a nice sinse spliff at this moment! perhaps your friends got them from him as well?
ganico man, the black tea, since it is acidic, is supposed to soften the shell of the seeds in hard shelled seeds, making it easier for the tap root to emerge.
coconut milk would make a great organic fertilizer for sure! that stuff is real nutricious.
