Well can't really lie, but yup! I call it a GeoArch dome, took about a year of 3d trig & geometry math to do the measurements. Want to use rebar & curved triangle slipform concrete molds to make a super strong dome. Similar to Monolithic Domes - http://www.monolithic.org/topics/domes

Also desiged another type of dome that doesn't use struts or hubs - just flat triangle panels that connect with the proper dihedral angles. Wonder why nobody's really used this approach - here's one model I've found:
