I got a flowering area almost exactly the same as yours, and am thinking of going with a 150 instead of 400, seeing as you have basically given me a carbon copy to use as a template to know what I can expect for heat, air flow, grow space, etc. Thanks a bunch, and hope it all works out.

swurv, my space is 16.25" x 38" thats 4.2 sq feet. with a 400 watter thats close to 100 wpsf! seems like too much... not sure though, i always learned to stay around 50 or 60wpsf, right now im around 45 wpsf with a 150 hps and a 42w cfl. when i have more than one plant in there i will have another 42w cfl totaling 234 watts and giving me about 55 watts per square foot. i would definitely recommend a 150 or a 250 to you. i havent worked with a 250 so im not sure about their temps, maybe use a cool tube. well, feel free to use any info from me and feel free to ask any questions too.
quick update while im here. today is week 4 of flowering for the bush. she is definitely packing on some weight now. smells like juicy fruit now too, guess my buddy was mistaken on what seed he gave me, smells just like the plants i grew over the summer.
the seedlings are 21 days old now. im thinking im gonna throw em into the flowering box here in a few days. theyre getting big quick. much faster than my first seedlings. and these babies are supposed to stretch like 2 or 3 times thier size too. i think i may keep em in veg for a few more days.

watered everything today with molasses and guano tea, the boreal stuff is getting a really light dose of the tea right now as there is fresh nutes in the soil too. theyre looking soooo good! im really happy with these babies!

Good news! ive got 3 confirmed females, 1 ak99 x freezeland and 2 of the boreal mixed seeds!! i have one i think is a male, but its really hard to tell right now, and the other 2 arent showing anything yet, but i hope for the best!!! heres the females.
i added a bend to them today too.

military, thanks for stoppin in .. i hear ya on the strings in lst, i tried it a bit last summer and every time i watered, i would grab the side of the bucket and spin it and catch my fingers on those strings.... broke enough branches like that! i think supercropping definitely gives the stalk some beef, the stalk on my plants that i have supercropped are always super strong and just look gnarly. the oldest plant i have in there will hit its 8 weeks in the first week of march, she may be ready before then though, we'll see. im gonna give her what she wants!

Decent yielder?military, all of the young ones are the same age, about 30 days old now, the three youre talking about are just different strains, but i have been supercropping too, so theyre bushing out. i put the second bend on em yesterday, one more to go, then theyre free to do what they like! the one thats almost done is just a bag seed, not sure of the strain... but i swear its the same thing i grew out this summer... smells just like it, juicy fruit/orange/fuely smell... we'll see!

Like very very piney ... Like if your sitting in a pine tree But has a very very faint sweet "marshy/DANKy" smell.. nothing bad at all after its dried a cured a bit So that made me happy...
BUT i think the smell might have to do with I still have my root system from the male I had completel tangled in with the females system.. It is finally started to rot.. Good thing its at the end of the grow
