pothead2- i didnt take any clones just yet, i may in a few weeks if she's lookin killer, otherwise i have some known genes on their way and ill just wait for that. but who knows, ill probably chang my mind! hahaha!
well, like i said shes really loving the light and when i checked on her this a.m. when the lights were on she looked like she had stretched some side branches out and all the leaves are reaching for those lights, she looks super healthy today!

got my seeds in, romulan x godbud, ak99 x freezeland, and some mixed seeds from Boreal Genetics. i had them in a cup of water, then onto paper towels in ziplocs, they are now in dirt, they havent poked their heads out of the dirt yet but we'll see em in a few days im sure!
so i was putting some bends in my side brances and main stem to bush it out (soma's supercropping method) and snaped half of one of the side branches right off. since i know its a female, i just used it as a clone and threw it in with the seeds in the old box under 24/0. we'll see if she takes, as ive never really had much luck with cloning, and this being an accidental clone, i dont have high hopes for her, but we shall see.... ramble ramble ramble.....

St: Have you tried to use a cloning hormone? A small jar is only like $5 or so @ HD. Keep it covered w/a clear plastic bag or something, keep it warm (I put set mine over a heating pad that's wrapped in a towel and set to low), humid, and keep the soil pretty wet for the first week or so.
make a simple bubbler unit with a 5 dollar pump and 1 dollar rubbermaid w/lid. you'll never have to buy anything else for cloning again.
this is my little bubbler. It holds 16 clones and its about 6in X 6in. you dont need a humidome or hormone because the clones are able to extract enough water right through the stem sitting in the water. My average succsess is 100%. so for one clone, mistake or not you'll have a good chance of it surviving.

update time....
got my seeds in. i have 3 AK99 X Freezeland, and 3 Boreal Genetics mixed growing right now. i started them in cups of water on 1/14 they went into dirt on 1/17. they all sprouted by the 19th. 1/21 i transplanted them into deeper cups as they were stretching so i buried them up to their heads in dirt. today theyre all about 1 inch or so out of the dirt. and starting on their second set of true leaves. heres some pics...
theyre all growing pretty uniformly except 2. one is a little slower and darker green then the rest. and the other stretches for the light fast... male? maybe. we'll see.
now onto the old lady... she started 12/12 2 weeks ago. i transplanted it out of its 1 gallon pot and into a 3.2 gallon pot on the 21st(? i think it wast 3.2 atleast?) she loved it! she stretched right out in her new pot!
here is the day of transplant and today.

Con300, i use a bat guano with a 3-10-1 npk. and i will start today adding molasses to it too.

Very nice i got some speed queen coming and my 175mh, 449vortex, carbon filter, nutes and other supplies. i will be 2 weeks behind you so its going to be nice to watch. I am also going to be subbing in a 400cmh or just a plain ol 400hps for the last month maybe more, just need to find a good deal. Good luck with the youngins

Good decision with the bat guano St. One of the best things you can give a plant is what my local hydroshop owner said... Your gonna have good tasting organic bud...and the molasses is gonna make it better.... Kudos to you sir....

i have 6 romulan x godbud seeds left, these plants dont want to pop out of the seeds. i even pryed some open on my last try just to see if that would help. nope. im going to try to soak some in some nute water over night and see if that helps... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

and the babies, their current home. under some floros.
the ak99 x freezeland is in the back, the Boreal Genetic mixed seeds are in the front. theyre about 18 days old. and in their 3rd containers. super vigorous plants!
