Cops don't stop robberies buddy. They show up after and play candy crush on their phones while becoming millionaires for doing nothing. There are at least two subway stations in NYC that have NYPD stations inside the damn subway.

Crime in NYC collapsed when the NYPD went on strike. Think about that lmfao.

Before he was shot didn't Hurley come to the aid of a person who was shot from behind?

I'm not a fan of Police, but Hurley's action was HIS attempt to stop a person that had initiated violence against another human being, right?

Also, MY point still stands, cops can't be everywhere and even when they are on the scene, there is no guarantee they will do much., Uvalde for instance. Sometimes cops even shoot people that are trying to help them, Hurley for instance.
