Every tv show had a message. Billy Jack preached peace as he beat the hell out of folks. A rich white man adopted 2 kids of color. It was a time of great white hope.

Rock Stars preached against the excess of the rich while simultaneously throwing TVs out the motel window.

I got so gosh darn sick of messages.

What really crushed it for me was the Monkees live performances.

But if you think about the presented analogy, if there is a turtle on a fence post along a country road in farm country, chances are a farmer or his kin put it there. And if you think about trump's political base, the farming community makes up a large part of his a rock solid foundation.

Therefore, if the "the doctor" and "the old farmer" were transposed in the picture's story line, it would be far more accurate.
