All depends to me on where you live and the circle of people that know. If there the kind of people that would have a problem with popo you should chop tomorrow if their likely to never have run ins with the law don't worry about it. In other words,this info they have on you will it ever be traded to popo.

You want to get busted and then make a big publicity of it? I don't think you getting busted is going to change a lot minds who are on the fence about legalizing cannabis. I think you could find better ways of doing that than sitting in a prison cell. That is just a way for you to keep growing and convince yourself that. "it will be okay if I get busted".

Edit: My 'First' grow was in soil with Miracle Grow and it took me 2hrs to make their 'home' look like it never existed. Found CW & OG, never told anyone and have been growing without telling (after a few years) ever since. Never give a second thought to tearing it down, especially if you're not legal. (Stay Safe!) Check this thread....

Yes, you should DEFINITELY chop and shut down your op. One person is too many and you have a bunch of girls who know of your highly illegal grow op - bad idea. Like others have suggested, make it appear as if it never existed, you've made a decision to stop growing and just buy your smoke. It will suck for quite some time, but hopefully will teach you to never, ever, ever tell anyone ever again.

Zealious, you can't do much of either, if you are serving time - or constantly struggling with fines, lawyers, frozen accounts, etc. From reading this thread I "guessed" your state, and checked its penalties on NORML. You'd better chop. I would have chopped at the first sign of a leak.
Back in college, a friend of mine once had maybe 20 baby seedlings growing in a flat in his apartment. Four people saw them sprouting. Within a few days, one of those four people was arrested, and told LEO where they could find some "pot plants". Those seedlings were maybe two weeks old when several narcs came and got them. The state eventually reduced my friend's charge to simple possession because the grow was so miniscule.
Just an example; if people are talking, there is imminent risk.
